Really wish they would make em with a passthru/charge setup!!!!!!!!!!!! (my next APV will be one with a passthru) My first PV was a Totally Wicked Tornado RCS but its not a APV and is regulated to 3.3vdc...but it DOES have a passthru/charge function!!!

I know the INNOKIN iTaste VW and MVP brands have passthru on em, but not the SVD...fooey

yes I saw the fasttech one you linked but for just $2 more I would rather have it come from the U.S. instead of shipping it back to China.
On defects from fasttech, when you get a customer service ticket, you ship to somewhere in Fl. I have read somewhere on ECF...

OH HECK YAH...the V5 Zmax looks like a winner!

I see it can read if there is a short or low ohms..but does it have ther resistance display like the Vamo 2 or 3?

Is this a reputable vendor?

even better, if you don't want to spend more than $100

skip all the chinese PWM, get a cheap mechanical for less than $50 (even a $20 ~ $25 will work) and buy a kick 2

best of both worlds!

I totally would but I'm to new to deal with the safety issues.

eric, with power regulated devices you will be safe

I meant to say, get a cheap mech, then add an EVOLV Kick 2

it will give you consistent 5 to 15 Watts

yes, the kick 2 can handle sub-ohms (as low as .5) but also up to 3.3 ohms with ease

It's up to you what you add to it

once the kick 2 is in you will not exceed the amp limit of the batteries (the kick 2 has an amp limit of 6 AMP, it won't fire above it, most IMR batteries have a 10 Amp limit)

so 45 bucks for kick
say, 30 for a chinese mech

$75 will give you much, much better performance than a ZMAX / VAMO / SVD / heck even provari (which I own and love)

The chinese PWM chips are bad IMO, I have a SS VAMO and it's the only device I regret buying

This is a question I've been pondering myself for about three months, and tonight I finally decided to order an iTaste MVP v2.

Just seems like a good choice all around. The V2 has the stuff the V1 was lacking like the Ohm reader and variable wattage. Doesn't require any batteries or charger, just order the kit and you're done. Plus the battery life will be better than anything 18650 based. Should only run you between $50-70 shipped depending on where you get it.

I get one of the MVP v2's do I really need to get an cartomizer/atomizer ohms meter?
Looks like this has it all..I think I want one too

You don't really need a seperate meter unless you're building your own coils. The built-in meter is just fine for double-checking the resisitance of pre-built stuff.
