I just bought some new juices from the local vape Store. I have no clue as to how long they have been mixed or sitting considering that this place is always packed from open to close. What is the quickest way to steep a juice? I have heard bring water to a boil, taking it off the heat and placing your juices in there for a few mins, cap and shake and put back in for a few more mins. I have heard doing the same but with Ice Water... Reason I am asking is because I am almost out of the juice I have opened.....

I would just leave them sitting with the caps/drippers off until you need to break into them... I do steep my juices, but I have tried many different liquids that taste perfectly fine straight from the mailbox. They usually improve with time, but they are far from un-vapeable from the start.... Just make sure you shake them up really well.

Yeah, the hot water will speed up steeping. But have you sampled the juice yet? If it was on the shelf, it could already be sufficiently steeped. Give it a vape and see how it tastes.

The only purpose of steeping is to give the flavor components time to blend. I vape mostly simple 1 or 2 component fruit or candy vapes, or plain menthol and I never steep (one flavor = nothing to blend. :D )

I shake, take the top and dripper off and nuke for 10 seconds (not 15.. that will melt the plastic bottles) let cool of for bit, shake again, then let it sit with the cap and dripper off overnight, and stop and shake them up when you think of it. That will get it off to a good start.

I also have an Ultrasonic Cleanser that I can put it in for an hour or two which seems to help a bit also. (caps on when it's in there though.... don't want them to tip over and get ruined) It also helps if you take three bottles and rubber band them together, much less chance of them tipping over.

Cant suppliers / manufactures put a batch date on the carton or bottle. to give a date?

A lot of them do. MBV prints on their labels when it was made. But those are usually made on order.

It also depends on how they are made. Single flavor don't usually need as much time, or if they premix the flavors and just add nic when purchased, or pre-mix it all.

Bascially I do a sniff, if it smells perfumey, it goes the open bottle and quick steep to start, if it smells ok, I do a test vape to see how it is.
Some don't need any time at all.

Some take a few days, others a few weeks. So many variables.

Nuking..... BAD Idea. Put mine in there like you said but for only 9 secs. Bottle began to collapse and the juice began to overflow the top LOL.....
