It's like a Exotic Sports Car... if it's out of your price range, don't buy one.

I don't go down to the Porsche shop and hold up a sign about how they're too expensive and I don't have one in my driveway.. Doesn't mean that I wouldn't like to have one, just that I choose not to buy it...

Agreed 10000000000% BrockJ .....
I couldn't have said it better my self...........

As far as price, these are far cheaper long run then delrin(aka Plastic) drip tips are. I paid 8.00 dollars for one plus 7.50 shipping. You now have a plastic tip that many have said doesn't drip as well as the T-tip and also will probably have a relatively short life span before its all chewed up. A stainless Ttip isn't even twice the price (shipping is only 1.25) and will outlast a 1000 delrin tips!

Hey David although i know you are a nice guy.......But you do not have to Justify ANYTHING about your T-TIP to anyone on this forum.......We all know that your T-TIP invention was the best thing since sliced bread.....T-Tips are every Dripers dream come true......You are always going to have haters come to this forum and post Complete nonsense....Just like that poster Did....Pay no mind to That Dave.....Because we all know that Stainless/Brass/Aluminum T-Tip will out last the Plastic Tip (STOLEN INVENTION FROM DAVID i MIGHT ADD) any time any Day.....

Why hasn't someone made a refillable cart out of a material that will last as long as the T-tips.

I didn't mean to be critical about the t-tip after all I bought one. It will last a lifetime. I do find it hard to get it off and on my atomizers. I will try one of Drews and see how it is. I do think I got one of the t-tips with a smaller hole in it.

The T-tip are a great invention but I would like to see one where you can use refillable carts in (this would last a lifetime)

I know you weren't being critical, i was just making my point to others who were considering buying a Delrin tip vs one of my Tips.

In all fairness, Delrin does have some advantages. It's light and some like the plastic feel better then metal. But after 40 years of eating from stainless steel and metal forks, the stainless t-tips take to your mouth like butter and no, you don't constantly clank your teeth on them, just like you don't on your silverware as the body intuitively knows. I've been experimenting with some Delrin tips, so i may try a batch of them in the future.

For the same reason there's sooooo many cart mods out there. At this point carts have to wick the liquid to the atty and nobody has prefected it. There's no "perfect" wicking material (and I doubt there ever will be as different liquids have different viscositys and thus wick differently. Not to mention different attys at different voltages all have different liquid quantity requirements).

At some point down the there will be more "wickless" e-cigs but you'll still have the issue of atty life. No point in making an atty's exterior last a lifetime if the coil doesn't.

Hope that helps answer your question?

I don't know why you would bother doing this David as the Tips ROCK just the way they are... They will last a lifetime.... You make a great product and I can't see anything Delrin made even holding a candle to you current line of Tips....

I'd hate to see your reputation hurt by making a subpar product and that's what Delrin is...

Hey martha1014......The T-TIP was invented with DRIPERS in mind.... For it's ease of driping......Now I'm pretty sure that you can use a filler material in your T-TIP to make it work some how......How? i don't know....Cause i only drip and have no interest in refiling at all..... But If ECF members came up with such inventions as the Tea bag filing, aquarium material filling and all other filing techniques....I'm almost 1000% sure they will figure out (if they haven't already) how to use a T-Tip for refiling as well......I mean come on, who ever would have thought in there wildest dream to stick a tea bag in the cart....But they did, and it works.....So like i said before I'm pretty sure that the T-Tip is on someones to do list next......Certainly was on DREW'S mind.... Except it was done in Delrin and for DRIPING PURPOSES ONLY..........

Just a quick cost analysis here...

The other Tips sell for what $8 each? A T-Tip lets say is $18

T-Tip will last a lifetime so you spend $18 and are pretty much set for life...

With the other I would assume you'd need at least 10 of them to keep up to the T-Tip...

That's $80 (at least, and that's assuming you only need 10 to last a lifetime) Plus shipping (assuming you don't order all 10 at the same time)

So.... $18 for a T-Tip or well over $100 for the plastic....

Yep David..... I agree with raqball.....No reason to do this at all.....Because then they all going to say that you Stole their Invention.....Not even worth your time......Even if your product will be 1000 times better then theirs, they are still going to point fingers.....Don't do it Dave.....Your reputation speaks for it self.......

I own 2 ss shortys, 2 aluminum shortys, and 2 ss reg t-tips. I bought 2 of the delrin tips for 1 reason only....I wanted a black tip for my Black BB. Dat's it. If SuperT would have offered black I would have gotten it here. Other than that, I see no benefit to the delrin tips. Would love to see the t-tips in a black matte finish :)

Agreed. The plastic is the thing I try to get away from because it cheapens the look of whatever you pop it onto -- especially a well-crafted mod.

I look at it this way --

Plastic tips are first generation Chinese e-cigarettes. T-Tips are decadent accessories for the new generation PVs. I hate e-cigarettes. I love my PVs. <g>

Lol..what home anodizing can be done fairly easily...it's just a PITA..

Requires a car battery charger, some battery acid, water, aluminum coat hangers, a bit of aluminum foil..and whatever color RIT fabric dye you want for the color...

it just doesn't get as deep as professional anodizing so it's a bit easier to scratch...but you can also use electrical tape as a resist...

Or you can just wrap the thing with colored heat shrink tubing. Gives a slight "cushion" to the feel, different colors available, easily replaceable, etc. :)
