I have tried this as stand alone in 2 or 3 different percentages.
What was your low and high percentage you tried mixing at? And how long does it take to go south (a couple of puffs or a couple of days)? @SteveS45 makes a valid point about chocolates in general. If you mix them strong enough to taste good right away (e.g. shake-N-vape) it can become too strong over time. The choices are either mix small batches that you will finish before they go south, or mix lower percentages that might not taste great until it has had enough time to age. For me chocolates require a minimum of 3 weeks and usually don't really hit their stride until a month or more. That said; I am probably at less than 50/50 on liking any of the chocolates I have tried so far. It seems to be a tough one to get right.

Dont get me wrong, Ive got a few recipes that I steep for a lot longer than a day. Ive tried steeping the RVC, Ive tried vaping it right away, Ive tried alternating it with other flavors. The only thing I havent tried yet is mixing and matching it with something else, Im gonna give it a try with some Strawberries and Cream, heavier on the S&C, maybe with a black cherry on top. Just wanted to get some ideas and Ive gotten a few great ones so far that will work with what Ive got on hand.

@IDJoel Low percentage was 1% high was about 4%. It doesnt take long for it to go south on me, like I said it only takes a few vapes for it to go downhill. I know that its my palate and not the flavor changing. The best I can say about it is that its not terrible for one or 2 drips(RDAs only for me) then its no longer for me.

got ya. :D Yeah that is sounding like one for the "not a winner" column. I think you are on the right track to see if it can act a a secondary, or supporting, flavor with some other flavor(s) taking center stage. I hope you find something that works for you. I know it stinks to think it might only be worthy of the drain.

There's always the "pass it forward" thread! ;):D

I can't remember where I found this recipe and I have not mixed it yet. None the less, I thought I would attempt to help. I never used LA CCI at that high of % so not sure how it would work out. The rest of the %'s look appropriate IMO. @IDJoel, have you used the LA CCI anywhere close to 6%? Good luck!

Red Velvet Cake
5% red velvet cake - TFA
6% cream cheese icing - LA
3% vanilla swirl - TFA
1% vanilla cupcake - TFA
I've made that recipe a few times. The cci works well at 6% on this one because, when you get the real cake the cream cheese icing plays a big part in the overall taste of the cake, and it does exactly the same in that juice, overall that recipe comes very close to the taste of the real cake.

Thank you @b.m. You just gave me the necessary nudge to give this recipe a try.
