Suggestions on DIY ejuice flavors, bring me up to speed please?

I started vaping many years ago now. I got my system down and just never changed what I buy, from mod to DIY ejuice flavors. I have not even posted here in many years now as I stopped vaping lol. I recently converted a family member to vaping, took them into a vape store so it would be easy to try different flavors - something I have never done, as there was no such thing when I started vaping. They end up liking a mojito flavor that is one of those repackaged special store blend things. It's a seasonal only item so it is now discontinued until next summer since they ran out. Can't replicate it with The Flavor Apprentice flavors, and really I am not sure it is actually based on mojito flavors at all - doesn't taste very much like it anyway. I know most of The Flavor Apprentice flavors by heart, and not sure what could be appropriate. Maybe another brand of flavoring? Maybe there are much more robust offerings in flavoring - something blended and not just a simple blueberry, strawberry etc flavor that you end up trying to mix to get your ideal everyday vape??? It would be possible to start over to find something else they like, but I don't want to send them on several hundred dollars worth of a goose chase on flavor sampling if it can be avoided. Thanks for any ideas.

TFA has a Mojito and a Mojito Havana, but I don't know what the difference between the two is!

A fairly highly rated simple two-ingredient recipe on ELR is "Strawberry Mojito" by Vicious Vaper:

10% Mojito (TPA)
8% Strawberry (TPA)

I don't think I'd be so brave to start with 10% mojito Last time I tried that flavor if was strong. I would start at 3% and work up.

Yes it is pretty strong, I'll cut down to 10% and try it again. Thanks for the input.
