Hi ECF, er, Canada!

I've been searching for an E-cig for me and my roommate for the past little while and unfortunately have not come to a conclusion. We have a couple friends who own a SmokeStik which I think is great, however it's pretty pricey. One of them claimed he ordered it from a site which was fairly reasonable. But did not remember where he ordered it from.

I was so excited when I found out about the Volcano brand E-cigs because it came in an appropriate package which was perfect for what we're looking for. However it only ships in the states!
I posted this also in the new members forum and got a couple replies for Happy Vaper.
I am considering it but I would also like to hear other options!
I'm looking for a automatic battery vs. Manual.

If there are packages that include 2 batteries that would be preferred!

Thanks for your help!

You're about to get a lot more. HappyVaper is the best of the best.

Welcome to the forum, I'm not going to answer your question on what to get, because RachelCofee will just trump it anyway, ENJOY!

your best of with happy vaper id go with an ego kit for 80$ which will include 2 ego batteries and 2 attys and 1 cone so you might want to order a second cone also , or you can get the ego passthrough for 25$ each which can be charged while in use at a computer or usb wall plug , they are a bit bigger than a 510 but it sounds like u plan on each using one and a 510 bat will only go 3 hours before needing to recharge for 3 hours so not having the second one charged and waiting will make it hard for u , the ego however will last 6 or more hours on a 2 hour charge and if u get the passthrough u can go all day as long as u can find a usb plug through out your day ,
as for nicotine u will have to order else where and probably fill your own carts or drip with a drip tip , the ego also come in a ego-T now which has a tank attomizer which will hold alot of juice so u dont have to top up carts every 20 minutes or drip every 5 these should last half a day with out a top up
here are a few canadian juice vendors , some have e-cigs to if you want to combine into one order
nicfitnation.com
Electro Vapors Canadian Ecigs Accessories and Eliquid
vapables.com
juicyclear.com
just to name a few nfn has the ego-T and juice

But I'll take both your opinions into consideration!
Any answer is better than none.

Ego kit from happy vaper, I'd say get a 306 drip tip and some LR306 atties and go to town lol

Vapables.com for liquid :)

edit: Definitely get manual batteries, because the auto ones are bad when dripping (because there is a hole in it that you can get juice into). Even if you don't drip at the start, you'll change your mind quickly.

Well my friend, I am not a very experienced vaper, but I have been reading the forum for several weeks (lurking) and I decided to create an account a few days ago to ask a few questions of my own. I have put over 8 hours a day browsing these forums (Guess what I do on my laptop when I go to University all day :p )

I would say it all depends on the price you are wanting to put on your kit.
If you absolutely want to buy a kit from Canada and don't want it to be too costly, yet have a great product, then you simply can't go wrong with happyvaper and their Happy Ego kit.
Just be sure to get the manual batteries (autos really ain't worth the while at all!)
If I were you I'd also get Boge cartomizers (you are better off with disposable Carts+Atomizers all-in-one IMO, use the ones that come with the kit to drip with a delrin tip)
Here are the links to what you would need and you'd be all good to go :
Canadian E-cigarette Happy/Joye eGo Starter Kit - Black, Silver, White, Titanium
Canadian electronic cigarette Delrin, eGo Mega, Drip Tips, Type A!
Blank (empty) cartomizers (cartridge + atomizer combined into a single unit) for the Happy 510/eGo e-cigarette.

The next few items are for cosmetics / Convenience :

Esthetics for the cartomisers : Canadian electronic cigarette Happy/Joye eGo atomizer Cover - Black, White, Silver, Titanium

Convinience : Canadian Electronic Cigarette Happy/Joye eGo USB Passthrough Battery

Now all of this being said, If you do have the money and are really looking into investing (after all it's for your health :p ) Then I would have more suggestions on MODS. Customs will block nicotine, filled carts and some times empty carts(very rare) but they won't block any MODs because it doesn't contain anything illegal. Its just a battery ... or power source. Keep us informed on what you will be getting.

I know this might sound a little stupid, but is it weird to care about aesthetic appeal?
I mean, I trust you guys cause you're all way more experienced than I am.

The Ego Kit is practical, but it doesn't look like a cigarette nor does the tip have an LED light.
I do like the look of a automatic battery, but so far from what I've read manual makes more sense.

Bah, I wish SmokeStik had more agreeable prices. I'm considering the Happy 510.

*note: I don't need to order it from Canada, I'd gladly consider anywhere else if it means I have more of a selection, the only reason why I stated Canada was because of the cartridge situation.*

In my opinion L4ste, anything that looks like an actual cigarette your going to be disappointed in. You are going the exact same route as I did a year and a half ago.

The reason is pretty simple, because this is an ELECTRONIC cigarette, it runs on a battery, not on fire. If you are an everyday smoker having an E-cig with the size and looks of a standard one to be stealthy isn't going to cut it. I have a mega Battery on my old Titan 510 which looks like a regular cig except longer and it only lasts me about 2 hours. Carrying a charging case around is an hassle.

And if your wanting to attract the less attention possible, I'd say pretty much every e-cig will get you the looks no matter the size. And I don't really mind anymore, I'm actually starting to like it. It's always a nice opening conversation to have with the girls outside of my college. "Hey what is that you are smoking", "Come over here girls, I'll show you " :)

"Is that a Go-Go in your pocket or are you just happy to see me ;)"

Yeah, I'll trade looks for performance anytime. If you have the dough, grab an eGo-T kit with the standard eGo Attys and carts. I'd mess around with the standard setup and then move onto the T. Your eGo is going to be standard with anything "510" or "T-Rex". A couple of cartomizers too. As for Juice, start off with 10 ml bottles or smaller. You never know what you think is going to be nice, and turns out to be nasty (a DeKang Cola blend I tried was horrifying). If you were a pack a day smoker I would go with 18-24MG Nic. I vape 24MG all day, but I think I might try cutting back to 18 or 12.

Mess around with stuff, and don't be afraid to spend money. We all have! Much better than analogs.

Good luck and happy vaping
