Okay, mine only goes up to 2.1. Is that right? For the ohms

If that is from using the "Ao" (Atomizer Ohms) function on your ProVari, then yes, that is the ohms of your carto.

Thats just a lr carto, so as a guideline keep it at 4.1 volts or less.
And you can adjust as you vape. Anything above you might burn it.
If it burns and you are not above 4.1 then its not wicking properly.

I have used from 75pg/25vg to 50/50 with no issues on the smoktechs, jusy recently found that i like the 3.0 ohms better, a lot.
The stock coils wouldnt wick good for me, it ended up that everything baditude said held true lol.

Update us on how its working for ya.
Ikenvapes work well too, results seem to be mixed on who thinks which is better.
I have some boges but i usually get those in unpunched for taste testing new juices.

The worst are kanger cartos!

Okie dokie. I got some different carto's and I also got a kangertank aero dual coil tank and I like it a lot so far. This one doesn't have a carto but maybe it's the sucky one you're talking about. Didn't get a chance to read it before I bought it. Darn. Oh well. I seem to like it so far. No harm done I suppose.

Thank you for explaining the ohms. Makes much more sense now :). Now it's trial and error.

You're welcome.

That aero tank really has me curious. My first real tank was a Kanger ProTank II, and I have not had much success with it. Do you get good flavor from the aero tank? I barely get any from the PTII.

The aero tank is so much better than the protank II. I have one too and don't like it at all. This gives great flavor and I like the adjustable airflow. Beats the protank II by a mile.

I didn't like the ProTank either. Aspire Nautilus tank has been getting some good reviews now too. I think it also has the adjustable airflow so it sounds similar to the one you picked up. Glad you like it

I am trying like heck with the rda's but no matter what i do it tastes like i'm Drinking the juice.
Yuck.
they say its the best. I can wrap a pretty coil. But im not liking it one bit.

Carto tanks are the winner for me. I have a couple bottom coils i use when trying out a new flavor. But im finding it still tastes so much better to me in the cartotank.

Good luck to ya and happy vaping!

I've been obsessed with figuring it out and becoming more of an expert along the way. Maybe I'll catch up to you guys one day (probably not) but I sure know more than when I started this. Haha

You've already caught up with me. LOLOL. I learn stuff then the next shiny object flies by so I "need that" and have to learn about it and forget what I've previously learned about other stuff. My attention span and memory is equivalent to a 4 yr old.

I'm really curious about carto's, but I need to learn more about them hahaha. Im really loving my Russian 91, as this has given me the best taste and vape over any of my Protank 2's. I've tried multiple ohm ratings for my Protanks and the flavor just seems muted no matter what. Ive been experimenting with my coils in my Russian, and Ive settled on a 1.6 ohm, oval shaped coil wrapped around two 1/16" drill bits, wicked with cotton. Do carto's produce a really good vapor as far as visual? I'm not really a cloud chaser, but the "visual" was a big thing for me in quitting smoking and keeping off analogs. Can you do really good lung pulls from carto tanks?

I'm not a cloud chaser either, but, like you, I need the cloud to keep me off of the analogs!
My IBT with Ikenvape cartos produces quite a cloud(on par with analog/smoke clouds), excellent flavor and good TH.

Kanger heads in general are best the first day. After that, the coil turns a little bland when it starts to coat over with juice residue, even using 80pg/20vg or 100%pg. I find that the 1.8 and 2 ohm coils produce a little better flavor than the 3 ohm coils in a Protank.

Smoktech cartos are probably the best flavor I've found, but they tend to lose that initial flavor after the first couple of days. I like the flavor of the Kanger TS3 Evod style tank, but it's a little long for pocket carry. That's why I tend to stick with the original Protank. I've tried the Aspire ... not bad, but nothing to write home about.

I too am looking for the ultimate tank. It looks like I'm going to have to try the RBA style tanks.

Washing and dry burning are the only way to extend the flavor of most coils.

I'm not a cloud chaser either. I'm more about flavor. My hubby is a cloud chaser. Drives me crazy. Haha. I agree with Dave. Smoketechs are great the first couple of days then I usually change them out. They are cheap though so it's okay. My hubby is going to order the Aspire this weekend. I think I'll try his before I spend the $$ for one myself.

I'm still looking for the ultimate tank too if it exists. I'll have to be happy with what I have cause I've been put on a budget now. Guess I was getting a little vaping $$ happy. ;).

For tanks, IBTanked is what I love. I have a SnP that gets zero use, and a few others too. But all my IBTs are sweet, and do everything I want them to do. Carto choice seems to be different for each person. So try different brands and find what you like. Big thing is once you find a way to vape that you like, stop there and enjoy yourself :)
