Suggestions to improve my Website?

Hello!

I'm no webmaster to say the least, and I would love any feedback or suggestions to make my site the best it can be.

I may start a contest in the future to help me develop a logo, but it seems like several others are doing that right now already.

My logo will be a globe with a face smoking an e-cig!

Well, personally - black background websites burn my retinas right out of my eyeballs. It actually HURTS my eyes.

At least you don't have white text, thanks for that.

I have a couple of tips on how to improve your website visualy. The first thing you want to do is make sure pretty much everything is in the same font. You also could use a never banner for the top of the page, because the current one is blurry and of low image quality/resolution. Good luck

Also from a design point of view try not centre aligning your text. Have a more consistent use of font colours; at the moment your copy keeps changing colour for no apparent reason. Also don't underline text that isn't a link, users expect underlined text on web pages to take them somewhere.

From a code point of view you should consider moving your CSS into an external stylesheet. There are also 78 validation errors on the home page which it would be a good idea to fix. And finally you need to optimise your images, they all seem to be at least 150k which makes the pages quite slow to load. You could probably get them down to about 10-15k each.

My suggestion is using an ecommerce solution. A few good ones that are free and easily customizable are, Zen Cart, osCommerce and cubecart.
