On the bar above the box where you type, there are a bunch of icons. The insert pic icon is the 3rd from the end on the right. You can choose to insert from your computer or from a URL.
It takes some trial and error, but it's fun!

I've been having problems with net links using "". I was thinking they were too large, so I think I have to save them to my hard drive and add them as an attachment????
Those tags are correct. Just paste the site URL in between them and size doesn't matter because the are a direct link.
The only ones you can add as attachments that will show full size are the emotes and smileys. Anything very big will not show.. or at least they will only show in thumbnail size..
Other option is to upload from your own computer to tinypic.com or photobucket then copy the forum link and paste that directly into your post. I use tinypic 'cause it's faster but you don't have control once uploaded to there. Photobucket you can get a free account.
Confusing, I know, but after you do it a few times, it gets easy. Any questions?
Yeah, they are all saying they are too large! Will tinypic make them smaller for me? That would be nice as I would also like to change my avatar pic once in a while....
Unclick the little checked marked box underneath - I think it disables the size limit (at least that's what I've been doing....)

Try what lettucehead suggested. I just enter those tags manually and have never had a size problem. No, neither tinypic or photobucket will resize or optimize your avi. You need an image program to do that or PM me and I will reduce it down to the 150 X 150px 15k size that it needs to be.
Thanks! I hope I got it now... when I was manually adding in the img tags, there wasn't an option to get it from the url, so I think it was trying to add it to ecf and saying it was too big... I hope! Now, l'll try some larger ones...
My perfect summer day, is a little lower temperatures, sitting under the back yard tree on my new bench, chewing ice, and watering the garden watching the world slow down. At least my world slows way down.

I had to work security at a grand prix once and it was about 105 ambient so on the pavement it was well above that. What I ended up doing was buying cups of ice from the vendors. I'd pour most of the ice into the hat and put it on, then eat the rest of the ice cubes. Cooling inside and out!
