i think they do need to offer custom designs or different colors on thier PVs.

I have thought about this ..... I wasn't happy with our powder coater :( And our other option for powder coating does government work and they charge and arm and 2 legs for work done, not to mention they take a week to do just a few tubes.

As for custom etching ... May be able to do this ... Keeping track of custom design's and logo's may be a pain, but I'm sure we can do a *Standard* version, and for those that wanted custom artwork ... you pay a small $5 fee or something and email it to us .... hmmmmm .... will see what I can come up with :)

The sizing and placement of custom etching would be just one more thing that someone would have a probelm with. Who would pick those parameters?

Unless you wanted to be very specific about test run burns, approval of final designs, etc.. You could chew through some stainless and machine time in a hurry.

I'm not sure everyone realizes what time cost on some of the laser and milling machines.
If you've never dealt with it, why would you?

Casey's gonna pull her hair out one of these days and it's not going to grow back. :(

You better think about it.. LOL

It is a great idea by the way but you'd have to be very specific in the contracting of the work.

Thanks for looking out for me Brock, and Rhino, because Steve clearly doesn't love me anymore and is too scared to kill me himself- just trying to get me to finish myself off!

:(:nah:

Steve, for the love of me, my hair, and my sanity, let's do that thing everyone says is okay to do when you're not comfortable...

Just say no. Politely :)

Sorry kids, but we're insane as it is. If we start custom etching, we're going to need to hire a few more hands- and if that happens, we'll let ya know. :)

I have to agree with Brock and Casey.

The way I look at it do 1 thing right, then do it great, then add something else to the menu.

Etching, it would be cheaper if each individual got their own etching done, not many would do it because of the $$$$$. Those who do won't do it again because of the $$$.

You have a great looking product with some minor issues, perfect the product and everyone wins. Even Casey.

That is my 2 cents.
