Well here it is safe and sound! I'm sporting quite a big head rush at the moment too lol.

It's an LR 510 atty with a $1.50 type A chrome drip tip both from Heaven gifts... Nothing special just cheap for now. I was going to order some clear plastic or aluminum colored drip tips and carto's but GH1 was out of Boge LR 510's so I said screw it and ordered my usual LR 510's atty's. Also ordered more cheap metal drip tips, LR 306's (Non Cisco/IKV), bunch more 10ml bottles, and an eGo USB batt for my newly converted buddy.

I'll have to wait until next payday to order up some LR 510 carto's and I'm thinking I'll put clear plastic drip tips on those???

Not as much as you think lol, because I'm getting back to work tomorrow. I have the next batch of SM , so Ill be going to the etcher this week for the logo. Wait time will be a bit longer , but things are still moving along.

Close. Now sit down before I turn this forum around and go home lol. Just kidding I just dropped them off at the etcher to have the logo put on the heads. I have some head caps I can use in the mean time to keep things rolling tho. I'm working on orders all weekend to get caught up. I do need to let people know that because of the new atty connection, there will be no more lanyard connection. I'm very sorry,but I had to chose between a far better connection, or a lanyard......it was an easy choice.

well damn it. I really wanted the lanyard, it was a deciding factor for ordering the supermini. Now Im going to have to jury rig up something to make one work?

Is there enough thread engagement between the head and tailcap (supermini) for me to fab up a thin spacer to put in there to attach a lanyard to?

Im not opposed to having to make something myself in exchange for the better more durable connection. I have a few lanyards laying around the house already that have a thin thread like loop on the end on them that I can probably just place around the threads then screw the tail cap on to get the job done.

I really like the new design though !

doable but a pain. to be honest the new connection will not need to be adjusted very often ..if ever.
If anyone wants to keep the lanyard please send Sara an email letting her know to keep it. In the mean time Ill work on a lanyard to fit every GLV not just the SM.

The lanyard was kind of a deciding factor for me as well. I'm picturing walking around Six Flags with it around my neck. I'll send Sara an e-mail to let her know.
