Super quiet RSST

So, I finally got a decent coil going on my RSST. It's not amazing but it's a good start. One thing I've noticed is that it's super quiet and, because it seems to be on the cooler side as setup, I sometimes think I had a misfire until I inhale. Not really complaining, but it stands out next to the Kanger Protank and DCCT I have which both sound like campfires crackling. I prolly need to get the air hole drilled a bit and eventually get a kick but I'm otherwise pretty happy.

I used cartos in tanks for a long time and when I went to genesis attys, I was amazed how quiet they are. I guess I kinda equated noise with Power LOL. a couple days ago I picked up a mod that had a carto tank on it (haven't used it in a while) and was amazed at how loud it is! My rsst air hole is drilled to 1.3mm and I'm very happy with it :)

Weeeeell, and I know I'm going to get scolded for this, but I don't have any device to read Ohms. I'm using 30 gauge kanthal with 3 raps and, based on performance, I'm guessing it's gotta be around ~2+. I picked everything up at my local shop and the originally sold me 34 gauge which barely did anything. I'm guessing I should just bite the bullet and order some 28 because the local shop doesn't have any and, yes, I'm gonna get a Zmax V3 soon so I can check ohms and just have a decent vw unit on hand.

If you're going to mess with genys, especially with low ohm coils, you really should get a multimeter.
As for RSSTs; I love them. I like a 1.2mm air hole in mine.
