I just found a Super Six wirth a native 510 and no logo button.and brass Am not very familiar with David's earliert models. Does anybody know if it's made out of aluminum or ss? Am very excited and already got 14500 batteries. Any info appreciated :)

I would avoid the Super6. While the Super6 has a place in Super T history, and some still swear by it, knowing what you are looking for in a mod and having followed your posts for awhile, you will not be pleased with it.

Though the Super6 button looks the same as the PrecisePlus, it is not. The Super6 was a single grounding design whereas the Precise is a dual grounding, plus it was of aluminum/brass on the button, not Stainless and Rhodium like the PrecisePlus, so you will find the Super6 much more inconsistent in firing and maintenance intensive.

Look to score a PrecisePlus 16340 or 18350 or 18500 if youre in the market for a used device, you'll be much, much happier in the long run.

Also, just a heads up, brass and aluminum capped S6's will wear out quickly, the metal is very soft, its why we switched to all stainless caps some two years ago.

Thanks David.
I just thought I'd would be an easy and beautiful device. Guess will either cancel or re-sell.I do think that the Shockwave will be perfect for me (possibly a bit big, but will suit me vaping needs).
Thanks again for the info and I can't wait for the SW :)

Thanks David!
I had been talking to silverrocks about the Super 6, how I thought its light weight, beauty and relatively decent battery life might suit her. I know I love mine and use it daily, I guess I failed to consider technical advancements the lack of which might make it unsuitable for somebody dedicated to one mod.
Silver, I'm sorry if you get stuck with a Super 6. But I doubt you'll have any trouble selling it if you do. ;)

Yeah, everytime I mention to Dave how much I still love my Super6, he gives me that scrunchy eyebrows, frownie look. It's the same look he gave me when he was little, and I told him that he had to finish ALL of his peas.:glare:

I don't think Silver will have any trouble selling her Super6.

Ladymama loved it in part because she had me there to always clean and keep it running, otherwise she would have been one displeased mama!

The thing is, i don't think most people realize that switch on the S6 is completely different then the PrecisePlus because on the outside they look the same, but on the inside they are different. Don't get me wrong, the S6 had some wonderful attributes, but if you are looking for hassle free and light maintenance mod, the S6 isn't it, plus i no longer have any replacement parts for them should something go wrong.

You're right, David, the cleaning and maintenance on the old brass/alum combos can be a drag and the firing of the S6 can be hit or miss if not obsessively cleaned. I still appreciate the lightness of your T-1 and Super6 though, and I like their 801 caps.

Julia, I'm glad for you that it worked out with the seller and that he/she was able to reverse the charges. =)
