After over two months of waiting my Super Six finally arrived in the mail today. Today is my birthday so I was glad to get it.

Let me start by saying I've only used a RN4081 (SE Gold) PV before. While they aren't wonderful they did get me interested in PV's and made me think I might actually quit smoking.

So here it goes, my initial impressions of the Super Six:

Packaging: Unit was packed well in a USPS Priority mail box. Everything was in bubble wrap and well protected. The Super Six comes fully assembled inside a small carrying bag. There was also a small zip lock bag of extra washers and an extra spring. Instructions and warranty information were also inside the box.

The Super Six: It's tiny and so much lighter than what you would think based on the pictures. The craftsmanship is on par with what I expected based on all the glowing comments about it. It is well polished and seems well made. It's just so light I feel like I might break it, not that there is any real danger of that happening. :D

The button travel seemed like a good compromise between the 6V and 3.7V configurations so I didn't mess with adding or removing washers.

The button is surprisingly easy to press. It's very easy to press with my little finger, which was a pleasant surprise. The ears that stick out by the button are just long enough to keep it from engaging even in the 6V configuration when pressing the end against a flat surface.

The threads all seemed well machined, I did have trouble getting one atomizer to go all the way on the 901 adapter. 3 others fit fine though, so that's probably an issue with the atomizer.

Vapor & Flavor: Coming from a RN4081, the 901 atomizer makes a lot of vapor at 3.7V. The flavor was also decent, but all these atomizers are brand new, so probably with time the flavor will improve more. Still a little primer taste.

Surprisingly the vapor at 6V seemed to be equal or less than that at 3.7V. All these batteries have only been charged once and been setting a month and a half. I think given a good charge again I may see a bigger difference. I will say the flavor is stronger at 6V, almost too strong, but with new atomizers, so time will tell.

SS T-Tip: This thing is really nice. It's so easy to drip into it and I am nothing but happy with it. The o-ring makes a great seal. Really nothing to say except it works great.

David, thanks for this great little device, and thanks for your patience with my multiple PMs per week inquiring about my Super Six order status. :D

I'm happy to report that after several hours of vaping the 901 atomizer is starting to taste much better. Also the 6V seems better now that my batteries have been charged again. Still not the big difference I thought it would be. I did have one defective Excellerator LiFePO4 CR2. Shows charged when I put it on the charger, but the S6 will not work when it's installed. I even tried mixing it with several over CR2s and I get nothing as long as it's in there.

I have a quick question for David or anyone who knows. Is the extra spring with the S6 any different than the one in it, or is it just a spare spring?

I don't think the wait time is going to be so long after he gets all of the 'fourth batch / preorders' fulfilled, he got slammed. :)

I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo jealous...

I am wanting to pull the trigger on one but don't know if my sanity would hold up for 2 months of waiting....

Happy birthday!!

Happy birthday!!

I don't speak for David by any means, but I imagine now that the machine shop has the design programmed in their CNC machine another batch can be made much faster this time. So I would expect the 5th batch of orders, or whatever they will be called, will have a shorter wait.

All I can say, if I was you, I'd order now before anymore preorders come in. I'm not a patient person, but I'm really liking it. I'd have to say it was worth the wait.

Happy Birthday! Glad to see you got your Super 6 what a birthday gift especially after the wait.....enjoy.

I can relate the waiting is hard .....I think for the most part because everyone knows that one you purchase A PV from Super T/David you are going to get quality PV for one. Then the fact David himself puts his final touch on each unit prior to shiping polishing and assembly so you know it will be right. Still everyone is amazed and say it's better then expected!every time. Can't wait until I get the chance to be one amazed like all the rest of happy super 6 owners.
I did notice one thing here not that many pictures of happy new Super 6 owners I really think that would help hold over us who havent received theirs yet! Soo comon lets see some pictures of them super 6 Beauties. Come to think of it done a search on youtube and could not find a good Super 6 review their either found the T1 but no S6 may have to change that when I get mine.

djdavis75, Happy Birthday to you and Congratulations on receiving your Super SIX. :)

Your review on the SIX was of course like all the sentiments so far from those who've written. The SIX is simply the best! And as long as you have a good atty and good batts and aren't flooding with juice, there's just nothing that can go wrong with this thing. I particularly like the idea that the button is not electrical, so I can't see any room for error anywhere on the SIX itself.

I think with the right batteries you'll find that 6V vaping with the SIX is stimply more powerful than 3.7V, as would be the case with any device that allows both. Although 3.7V is certainly good, I find myself wanting to stick with 6V.

David has some great close-up pictures of the SIX on his Web site. But yea, we can make an attempt to post some pictures of our own here too.

DJ,

Glad to see you got it on your Birthday! I hope you had ate some cake and enjoyed the party rather then just played with your new toy:)

I sat around the house being lazy and playing with my Super Six. :)

Getting about 3+ hours out of these Excellerator LiFePO4 CR2s. Quickly becoming a big 6V fan, although the vapor from the 3.7V 14500 is quite good.

I've been having an issue with vapor production at 6 volts. Seems to be less than that of 3.7V, but the throat hit and taste is unreal. I've started keeping the atomizer wetter which seems to put it about on par with 3.7V. I'm now trying out these HV atomizers from East Mall. Seems to be more vapor with them, although the flavor and throat hit aren't as strong as 6V with the standard atomizer.

Anyway, David, this little thing is great, the more I use it and the T-Tip the more I like them.

Also, I didn't get a reply on the difference, if any, between the spring in the Super Six and the one that came in the bag as an extra.

Thanks,
David

Some people have asked for S6 pictures, so here are some. Not great quality, mostly trying to show just how small the S6 really is. I do have big hands though.

Alright Greatshots! thanks for shareing and really great shot with the ruler and spare change! It really give's a sence of the acual size. For some reason the Super 6 looks bigger then it really is(Or is it just me?) Anyway when someone discribes the Super 6 when they review it many mention in specific that it's lighter and smaller then expected.....

Thanks again It will not be long I am ready for the arival of my Super 6.... I orded it with a set of those beautiful brass T-Tips and all the different adaptors and plan to try the 801, 901 ,cartomizer and of coarse my all time favorite 510........So I look forward to this and it will be fun trying all of the different models again. It will be just like I started vapeing with a bunch of new toys...and I am really interested to see what the ajustable draw has to offer and what it is all about with the 801. I favor the 510 and consider it my regular model to vape with but on ocation like to drip with a 801 so should be pretty sweet with the Tip and ajustable draw.
