You have a good close-up pic of the lathe chuck marks on the unit?

Unfortunattly not but i wish I had .
I did say what looked like lathe chuck marks.
However David told me that he used a jig inside the tube rather than in a lathe chuck on the out side .
So after talking to my Friend of 44yrs as a machinist who is now at the top of his carreer working for Formula 1 Red Bull ,
He has told me that using a jig in this way is the correct way of polishing , however if too much pressure is applied to a thin wall of metal you will get uniformed marks on the out side of the tube that can look like chuck marks but are infact metal distortion .
Maybe this is what the marks were ?

Just My 2 Cents Worth......

Switch 5/10
It works , problem is it works when in you pocket in your shirt pocket , I do note that it does actually say the HORNS only HELP prevent from going off , so fine if your sat at a desk all day , otherwise its a pain in the backside , or top of your leg in this case as it burns ..
Also found switch constantly caught on the spring causing miss fires .
P.S although super t is aware of these problems and trying to fix .

Agreed..... Yes the Switch is a problem for some....But knowing this Beforehand you bought the PV anyways..

Regarding the switch .
I brought the Precise P18 knowing that I could make a lockable switch for it .
My first one shown in video below .
I then went on to to be able to disable the Precise switch with half a turn of the button and using the letter P engraved on the button as my marker for on and off.
This mod involved no alteration to the Precise its self and can be done for less than $1
If I can find the video for this I will put it up .

However the Review was based on a standard precise P18 without my mod to be able to disable the switch .

This arry guy has no interest in settling this matter. I'm convinced that he's dead set on pointing out flaws that no one else seem to have issues with. You can't ask for anything more than what Super T has offered in terms of an all around service and product that is unbeatable. The majority of other mods that are of similar functionality offer no warranty at all, sold as is, and no guarantees. In that sense, you get what you pay for. If you complain about a product and then complain about the service offered to perfect the issues, and keep complaining, then it's made obvious to me that you aren't interested in resolving the problems, but only complaining about them.

Settling what matter there was no matter to settle .

Its a review thats why its under the reviews section .

No one else has issues because there prob to afraid to speak up .

Unbeatable , is a matter of opinion but your entitled to it as am I entitled to mine .

The only persons complaining are others I haven't complained about anything .

I haven't asked for any help .

But others seem insistent in offering it.

I haven't asked for anything to be fixed.

As I do not believe there's anything to be fixed or can be fixed

David offered me a slot in the connection post for better air flow but failed to convince me that this would actually achieve anything .

I have used Boge cartomizer and currently use Ikenvape cartomizers on my P16 and P18. I have not experienced any air blockage problems at all, since the bottom of my cartos sit slightly higher than the opening in the adapter, so I can't help you with that problem. But one person who can and wants to help you is David. I'm just curious, why haven't you contacted him yet? Are you really interested in solving these problems or are you just interested in discussing them with those incapable of helping you?

I am a huge fan of common sense. What you are doing here makes no sense to me at all... Anyone else?

I did not ask for any help

I am on a different time zone to you so immediate contact is not viable whilst I am a sleep .

This is a review thread / section , so What you are doing here makes no sense to me at all either

You know I stay away from drama, but I got involved in this thread only because what's happening here doesn't make any sense at all. And yes, I recall the thread you are talking about. The bottom line is: I'm not gonna talk to my dentist about my car troubles. I couldn't understand why he is writing this review talking to potential SuperT customers rather than talking to the person who can easily solve the problem, if it exists. I see that David offered to cover the international shipping charges to get the P18 back to SuperT to get it fixed. I'm curious to see what happens...

You say Stay away from drama but I think you will find You alone created it

That is the point of a review  you let potential customers know your experience .

Yes you did. But you are still bashing it, rather than taking the offer to experience its perfection...

Yes, you are right again. Your review does remind me of mouse dropping and some larger droppings as well... The only posts you've replied to in this thread are the ones that can possibly fuel your fire.

That's pretty much what I expected. You are obviously more interested in creating problems rather than finding solutions. I gave you the benefit of the doubt initially and tried to help but it's pretty clear to me now that you have no interest in finding the resolution despite the red carpet treatment that SuperT customers get. I really don't care what you have to say anymore regarding this mater because you are making it obvious that your intentions are not pure. Thank you for revealing your true character. I will not be posting in this thread anymore because I don't want to be bumping it up every time I do. We all know that things which stink should be buried...

Good luck in finding the cure for the Cranial-.... Inversion...

Solution to what exactly ???

No help required . I will ask if I need it

A resolution to what

And your message to me shows your true character "Good luck in finding the cure for the Cranial-.... Inversion"

Nice person , I think not

Vaporologist,
I think we agree on most points, I was just supporting everyones right to post a negative review. I actually did pay money for a product and got, what I consider, a defective button...I chose to fix it myself or at least I am trying to fix it myself, so I have some understanding of not wanting to have to send your PV off into the mail again if it is still at all functional...and I see nothing in his review that states his device doesn't work or that he doesn't use it even with the faults.

But yes if it was something beyond my capabilities, and certainly if it was making the device 100% unusable, yea I would send it back. However I believe the Super-T manufacturer, who I hope doesn't take offense in any way to me supporting the OP's right to post a negative review, said fixing the button problem involves shaving off a few MM's from the tube?

So yea I think we are mostly in agreement.

...slight mid post change of tract here
I just noticed all the posts on the Super-T subforum and that this unit is, supposedly, sold.
now it appears this reviews validity is in question as a whole. The only thing I know for sure is that there was a P18 button issue at some time in the past, this is confirmed by Super-t, so some people were affected by it and Super-T offers to fix anyone who was affected for free. Still nothing in this review makes me think any less of the Super-T product line...yea the button doesn't lock...well it never did...Silver Bullets are not solar powered and the Saber Touch doesn't float.. this is all well known so pointing that out really isn't an issue. There was a past button issue but apparently has been resolved and was limited to only the P18 line and then only a few of them. Its worth knowing about the event, but it would not dissuade me from considering one for future purchase.

I don't really see anyone posting a bogus review just for the heck of it ....so I am going to assume its a valid review. That being said I think I will just...back away slowly from this thread...

Thanks at least someone understands its just a review .
But seemed to turn into a witch hunt ..
My $1 mod to the precise I made it so I could disable the switch .
Nothing on the precise was changed ..
But the review is based on a standard Precise P18 and not my mod .
and yes those are my hands in the video and what was my precise
this was filmed 09/01/11 I have just recovered them from my hard drive .
