This is my first review. After nearly one year of vaping, I decided to venture out of the world of proprietary batteries. I researched for several weeks and finally decided that a pure mechanical mod was the best fit for me. Of all the other manufacturers out there, the Super T Precise PVs seemed to be the most in line with my personal taste. I read about a million reviews from people that ranted and raved about their Super T’s, but would mine really live up to the hype?!?

With these being my first mods, I didn’t want to go overboard so only I placed an order for a P10 and a P16. I anxiously waited for nearly 5 weeks for them to arrive, but these were definitely worth the wait. Based on all of my research, I had extremely high expectations, but what I was not prepared for what I received. I was completely in awe when I held one in each hand. David can only be referred to as a perfectionist. His attention to detail is impeccable, and the quality of his work is superb. The entire tube appears to be seamless, and the top & bottom caps thread with ease. The threads themselves are not dinky, and I would imagine that it would be nearly impossible to cross-thread them. The surface has a slight texture to it, and it does a very good job in fighting off fingerprints. The action of the button is buttery smooth; it takes very little force to depress the button. The arched notch prevents accidental misfiring, and they can easily stand on end without activating. I’m sure that it is possible to activate it in your pocket, but I think that it would take a lot for that to happen…only time will tell.

Part of the reason why my order took so long to arrive is because I made two requests that are not standard on Super T PVs. I asked David to add vent holes to the P16 as well as a beveled top cap. I requested both for purely cosmetic reasons. The vent holes are angled away from you, and I feel as though it breaks the monotony of the cylindrical shape. The beveled top cap gives the PV a more symmetrical look. These requests can be made for the P16 & P18 but not for the P10.

I won’t say too much about performance because it delivers exactly what you would expect from a mechanical 3.7V mod. I paired my P10 with the AW IMR 10440 350mah battery and Boge 2.0Ω cartomizers. The P16 is running an AW ICR 123 750mah battery and an LR 510 atomizer. For now, both will use tapered Pyrex drip tips until my Super T shorty SS T-tips arrive. I also plan on picking up some AW IMR 16340 batteries for the P16. Both setups deliver exceptional results, but I think that I prefer the Boge 2.0Ω cartos, especially for my more delicately flavored juices.

Due to the beauty of these PVs, no ordinary case would do. I found some Pelican cases with Pick-and-Pluck foam that will enable you to arrange your gear however you want. Pictured is the Pelican 1040 case that will be used to hold both the P10 and P16. I organized it in such a way that I can hold both PVs with three 10440 batteries (I left room to allow for a total of five 10440’s), two 16340 batteries (with room for a total of 4), and 16 cartomizers (that can be expanded to 32). I also purchased two smaller Pelican cases (1010 model) for those times that I decide to take only one PV with me.

To say that I am satisfied with my purchase would be a total understatement. All I can say is “P18 and Shockwave, here I come!!!!!”

Nice write up and makes me hope even more that the P-10 David promissed will be here before my next business trip on Wednesday. I picked it up for 2 reasons. first is exactly what you described above the second is it is a perfect stealth stick for the airlines. I am happy to hear that it drives a Boge LR 2.0 since that is my weapon of choice when flying. Loaded with DIY 24mg/ml 90pg/10vg and no flavor (the stealth sauce). Enjoy those new units and big clouds to you. BTW - the units look great in that pelican case.

Very nice pictures on the review! I like everything about that setup, from the mods to the atties and glass tips. I am curious what atty or carto you had on the P10, I was considering using IKV 801 fusions but wasn't sure if the 801 adaptor/carto would fit properly.

Would be nice to have a nice small mod for travel, that's for sure. I've just been taking my old unused eGos with me, but this is a whole lot classier.

In the pictures, both PVs have Joye LR 510 attys on them. The Precises are native 510's, but they come with adapters (your choice of either 510-to-901 or 510-to-801). I chose the 901 because I have a lot of LR 901 attys and 808 cartos. They work just fine, but I personally don't like the added length. There are 901 and 801 stealth adapters out there, but I'm not sure how wide the ring is and if it will work with the recessed wells that the Precise PVs have.

My boss just ordered a P10 for his wife, and I'm eagerly awaiting trying it out. She's broken (I mean like dropped, mashed, or otherwise destroyed) 6 ego/riva batteries in about 4 months. Hopefully, this thing will be as indestructible as it looks :)

I'm afraid, however, that I'm about to be forced to buy one for myself. They just look too good to NOT get one.

I love the P10, but there's a limit to how much the 10440 batt's can deliver time-wise. Overall, I would recommend the P16 because it's the perfect compromise for size and battery life.

Just ordered those glass tips froM Theecig...they look sweet.

The P18 is perfect size for me....waiting for the Shockwave which will hold an 18650 or a 26650 BATT.

Oh yea..I also prefer the flat top over the bevelled... Sit the flat top on a desk or bar and you become mesmerized by the way the light reflects off the surface.

Oh, I've used 10440's in mods before, I'm aware of the limitations. I've already got larger battery mods, though; I'm looking for something sleek, reliable, and small (for stealthing purposes). Something I'll pass on when I die, lol. It's really too bad that SuperT doesn't make a 14500 model, since that's my fave battery EVAH, and I've got gobs of them. Oh well.

A 14500 super-T would be kind of cool

Great review and gorgeous, drool-worthy photos. I've pretty much turned my back on mechanical mods except for SuperT's (and Ikenvape's Chameleon for different reasons). I can't quite picture the size of the P16 though, no matter how often I see it. I know the size of the battery - is it about that size, double that size, a battery and a half that size? Love the beveling. Must look away now...too much beauty.

The main reason why I went with a mechanical mod was because I like the simplicity of it. I'm sure that I'll eventually venture into the world of non-mechanical mods, but this was the most logical first step for me. Going into it I knew that the P16 was going to be small, but I'm being honest when I say that I was surprised when I saw how compact it truly was. The battery is 34mm long; the tube of the P16 (without atty/carto) measures 74mm so that's just a little bit more than double the battery length. The diameter is 18.5mm, which means that the tube sidewalls are just about 1mm thick...or should I say thin!!!

Thanks, pAth!

P-10 showed up today. Like a hot women-----even prettier in person than pictures. This thing will serve my undercover vaping endevours well!

 What a description! Surely a device this elegant will sway the vape curious.

Just a quick update:

This week I received my order of AW IMR 16340s for the P16. Performance-wise, I like them better than the AW ICR 123s I was initially using mainly because there is no noticeable drop-off before the battery dies. They have a lower capacity (550mah vs 750mah), but that doesn't bother me. The only minor annoyance that I experienced is that the IMRs were slightly smaller than the ICRs, which meant that they rattled a bit inside the P16 tube. I disassembled the PV and found that within the base of the tube sits an o-ring that the battery rests on. I figured that I would just go to the hardware store and buy some o-rings so that I could add one to the base of the tube. I contacted David to ask him what size o-ring I should buy, and he sent me a bunch of o-rings (I only really needed one) free of charge. Problem solved, and now the P16 and AW IMRs are fitting perfectly.

I also got a few of the Super T shorty SS T-tips, and they're a perfect match for the Precises. The fit and finish are identical to the Precises, and I prefer the shorter length of these over the Pyrex tips I was using before. When fitted on an atty/carto, the shorty measures 14mm (Pyrex measures in at 26mm, but that length varies since they're hand blown and no two are exactly the same). They feel very smooth; not as smooth as the Pyrex but pretty close. The shorties are a snug fit and take a small amount of force to put on, but they are much easier than the Pyrex tips, which can be a PITA to put on/take off.
