I think I have to ad a p-16 to my collection.

When did they start getting holes in the side ???
My P-18 is only a month old, and working flawlessly.

Although i have to run it with no washers with the AW 2900 flat top.
I have to screw the top down pretty hard to get it to seal with no gap.

I do like the new tapered top.

David's first model, the T-1, and then the Super 6, had the vents in them. I don't know why he made them optional on the Precise line. I like the way he's machined them, not just straight-in drilled holes, but angled. They look like teardrops. I love the tapered top too.

Glad to hear you finally received your Precise, Bella!!

Thank y'all so much! It looks so incredibly nice. The vent holes don't take away from the look at all in my opinion and the way he angles the "like tear drops" is super nice indeed. I am thrilled beyond thrilled with my P16 and for me, this was the best choice ever!!! If you don't want to see the battery color through the vent holes all you have to do is take a sharpie (I used black, but I think there are silver sharpies not) and go around the bottom of the battery with whatever color you choose and it is less obvious that the battery is in there. My husband just gave me a weird look when I did this and laughed, but it works if you don't want to see the "red" cover that is over my batteries :)

Looks good Xenetic! What brand batteries are using? I set them up with a ICR AW 16340 when i send them out and with one washer underneath the brass switch contact post and it fires just below the horns. If you remove the one pre-installed washer, it should fire quite a bit below the horns (with an AW16340 that is). If you want, i can machine your contact screw shorter if you want it to activate deeper into the protective horns, no problem and no charge.

David

i can't wait to try out the AW in mine when i get it back. you're so right about those trustfires david. mine were the dealextreme gray ones and they never worked right in my p18. i'm going to have to order another AW or two down the road and retire the trustfires once and for all.

i have vent holes in my P18 for stacked 3.0 battery use, because i'm afraid of things that can go boom. with an 18650 battery there is no need, but stacked ones have enough clearance to blow gasses out the vent holes if something were to go badly ;)

david is great for fixing up whatever you need. the precises are really custom :vapor:

oh crap just lost my post. (new mouse dammit!) i didn't expect so many ohm choices on the fluxomizers  like my sig, my fave vape is the 2.0 901. i like 510 cartos from lx also, when they are filled right. don't know what ohms those are. i think they are Boge ones. I also have some of issac's fusion carto's, but i can never get them filled right so they are barely used and parked away.

i've had such a prob with filling cartos that i've stuck with dripping. on a carto i get a few good hits and then i'm back to topping them off. a clear, fillerless carto would be awesome for me to see what's going on.

i put a s/c on my desktop to gotvapes and i'll wait to see what recommend you have for a P18 @ 3.7v's and also @ 6v's.

thank you SO much HzG8rGrl! i hadn't given much thought to the CE2's b/c of mixed reviews, but when i saw yours i thought it could be a great possibility to end my vaping hassles :vapor:

The bigger thanks to Bella-she posted the pic that got the convo started.
Not sure about the 901's, but for 510's they recommend 2.8-3 for 3.7v and 3-3.2 for 4v and 3.5 for 5v. I could not find any 3.5 and up for 6v. I will keep an eye out though. Let us know what they recommend to you.

I want the same one. And, I should probably be on medication for my OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder). Hope that helps.

Thanks for that Joe

It's ridiculous I know, I love my P16 but now I know the latest version is 2mm shorter I want THIS one!

Any chance of selling me a spare body tube and slanted cap David? :p

yep! thx to both of you :) so i screwed up i guess and ordered the 2.4 -2.6's last night. i only ordered one box so i can try them out. if they're too hot, i'll buy higher ohms. i really like that fluxomizer website. he has 1.74 USPS shipping. David's good about that too on small parts orders :D

If i order something for less than $10 on a site and they charge $5+ shipping, i can't begin to tell you how much that irks the hell out of me lol. so i click delete = bye bye shopping cart and shop elsewhere ;) i love that i can go to superT and unless i'm in a hurry or the package is too large, i can always get reasonable shipping.

i'm actually thinking of how i can modify the clear tank to something a little beefier w/o going full blown map tank. 1ml is plenty for me when i can carry a bottle to refill. Should look very nice on the p18 when i get it back. i'll check out lowes for polycarb/lexan tubing that would fit. i think that was the only complaint about the fluxo's and clearomizers. the tube isn't real thick.

and my friend john (that bought me the p18 as a gift) and i have some nico chrome wire/wick material that i bought last year, so we can play around with them even more :) It's great to see the new stuff coming out, that you'd only see on the atomizer mod subforums even 6 mos ago.

sorry for the thread drift david! i do blather. feel free to say sthu and i'm cool :)
