While some/most are aware the primary liquid suppliers that were directly associated with BE were Gourmet Vapor & Honeyville.

As Rolygate has pointed out in the original BE thread;
“It's worth pointing out that BE's nic base is almost certainly used by many vendors, but there is absolutely no way to trace them as they would certainly not admit to that now

Rather than debate who will/won’t be forthcoming about previous/current nicotine sources, what is important is that if you use a liquid vendor and they have not addressed this, that you contact them and contribute it here.

I still think it is "corporate" suicide for a company to admit it. My feelings... they won't admit it... 99.9% of the time.

But those who DO use it and now baldly claim that they DON'T are opening themselves up to a whole 'nother layer of liability and possible criminal (false advertising) charges. Capice?

Thank you, Vchick, for starting this thread. I believe it does have value and serve a purpose. :)

Agreed. While we may never know what has gone on previously, the suppliers now know they are being watched -- or at least questioned -- by people deeply interested in what they're doing. Will it make a difference in what they do? I have to think so, and optimistically hope nobody would be so stupid now as to sell ANY nic juice without testing its strength, when test kits are readily and cheaply available to everyone at the end-user stage. Otherwise sellers risk being seriously crucified on this forum and elsewhere for selling something totally out of line with what they say it is.

From the "Official Prime Vaping Thread" on ECF's E-Cig Suppliers Forum:

"Nicotine Supplier
Due to the problems posted here on ECF about Box Elder nicotine, we felt it necessary to let our customers know that Prime Vaping has never done any business with this company. Prime Vaping has always and will continue to always use nothing but the best pharmaceutical grade nicotine available to us.
Thank you for your continued support!"

My apologies...this thread is important for retailers and consumers alike and I did not mean to hijack or take away from the intended purpose. I sincerely appreciate the vendors sharing their sources and procedures and only meant to support and defend the majority that do have just such integrity.

Trying to keep the thread on topic for supplier responses to nic liquid only

Believe me, I take this extremely seriously. I'm not in any way trying to be rude to anyone. As someone said in the other thread, if B.E. is serious about repairing any damage, they should release the names of the suppliers they sold nicotine to. This whole debacle has the potential to ruin the vaping industry as we know it and our ability to vape.

From FSUSA's Supplier Forum here on ECF:

"[A]ctually we never purchased from that company [Box Elder], personally I don't even know who they are.
We take our fluids seriously and have been inspected by all the regulatory agencies, who also did testing of our nicotine. Pamela and I have regularly done testing of random samples of our nic and have never had a problem. I understand anyone's concern over that issue for sure. I am a vaper too." (Post #5 by "mauisun" on thread entitled, "Nicotine Concentration Accuracy")

FSUSA has closed this thread to any further discussion.

Not sure why all the emphasis on using or not using BE. According to Kurt, BE nic is quality stuff as long as you know the concentration of nicotine you are working with. Just because the accuracy of BE is in the spot light doesn't mean mistake can't happen elsewhere. If you sale liquid that has nicotine in it, you must have policies and procedures in place that prevent inaccuracies. If you are going to sale them to me, be prepared to tell me what precautions you have in place.

An OSHA inspection is great for the safety of employees, but does little to convince me of the nicotine accuracy in your product.
