I have noticed a few people have some DIY juice they make that others really enjoy and got to thinking.

I think it would be a great thing to do for us to do (those that would like some of this DIY juice) to all pull together and collect the money needed to buy the supplies and a little extra as payment for making the juice and send it to the person/persons who make the juice to have them make and ship out bottles to those who pitch in.

I think it is a great way to get some of this juice with out the DIY'er having to buy and give it away. Who knows maybe even give someone a start at getting their own Juice bussiness started.

Just an Idea. We have some great people here and would love to support the people who give so much to the comunity.

Money is not an option. The PIF DIY thread should help things along, we're currently waiting on co ops for flavorings and bottles, along with the recent nic co op things should get going. A lot of different ideas have been tossed around regarding what your thinking bout. Mostly comes back to people offering juice DIYers bottles, flavorings, etc. boB

Really near the mexican border.
Good Idea however;
Jules, was saying she didn't want any money to exchange because then it puts the DIYers as suppliers with a whole different set of rules.

I think if you want to help the DIYers, you ask what they need and buy it, send it and then they can then make the stuff and send it out to others who want it. But money cannot exchange hands at all.

Besides DIYers don't do it for pay, they do it because they want to. They send it out because they want ppl to taste it and play with it and advice a way to maybe make it better.

I think the DIYers should list what they are sending out as a sample, make a list of what they need on a regular basis and then we can buy that stuff for them and send it to them. They can do with it as they please. And of course if you send them stuff you can request a sample of ????.

I think this is a great idea personally. DIY'ers get supplies they need to make Juice, for themselves and others. and people get samples and Juice. Personally I haven't gotten good enough at the DIY stuff yet to offer anything out. Not up to my standards yet. But I'm waiting on getting some more flavoring in to try some ideas I've had. I'm working on getting good at this stuff! Maybe someday I'll think something I make is good enough to offer out.

I have been a member of PIF for a while but never actually participated yet but I have a dram of lorann's clove I can offer up. I will figure this pif thing out one way or another LOL.
usually I PIF outside the ecf in my own little world LOL.

You could use it as an add on to the current offer in the DIY PIF. Basically the same thing we do with the regular PIF thread. boB

I, and the other DIYers, really appreciate these ideas and offers. Having supplies would definitely make things easier and less expensive on us.

But we cannot accept money for anything. That would put us in the category of supplier and we would have to pay ECF $40 a month, we would not be able to talk about our liquids in any social group (including PIF), and it just creates a great big headache that PIF doesn't need.

I think I can speak for the others that we really appreciate the thoughts behind this and will accept supplies, but not money, not even for shipping.

Things that are always needed:

bottles
syringes
pipettes
flavorings
nic liquid
PG
VG

You can get with the person that you are wanting to try juices from and see which things they need. That would be the easiest way since we all use different brands and flavors.

I like the idea of sending supplies/shipping money as well.

Personally, I also think we need an area for folks to sign up to be DIY taste-testers. I know I'd be on board as long as I wasn't sent flavors that I know I wouldn't like.

We did start one, I believe!:

Personally, I do DIY just for fun. If I didn't want to do it, I wouldn't have bought all the supplies! I just like trying to duplicate stuff and make some unusual combinations.
