I hate to post a thread in the NT forums with problems but I am at my wits end. Since my first bottle of Sure Bert it has become my favorite flavor. It took the spot from GCD which was no small feat. I have been running into some serious flavor consistency issues. Not from one bottle to the next but from one tank or drip to the next. I use the juice in two main devices. My Kayfun 4 and my Magma. In both when the flavor is right it is amazing. The problem comes in when I drip or refill. The juice seems to completely change. While the Sure Bert is still somewhat there it is almost completely taken over by a bitter flavor; it tastes just like chewing on a TylenoI. I have tried complete dis-assembly and cleaning and re-wicking and that doesn't even fix it. At first I thought it was an interaction with the plastic bottle that I was transferring the juice to since this is the only juice I have used that cracked a tank. I also tried changing the O-rings on my Kayfun since this juice is attacking those as well. I thought I had the problem solved but this morning the same thing happened in my Magma. It was freshly re-wicked and the first few drips were good then I dripped again and got the chewed up Tylenol taste. Finally this morning I noticed in my Unicorn bottle that the juice seems to be separating. In the picture you can see the separation right at the top. Is this normal with this juice and if so could this be causing my problem. As I stated this is my favorite juice when it tastes right but can't figure out what is going on here. I hope someone has some insight on this so I can consistently enjoy my favorite juice. Thank you for any help with this problem.

Do you shake the bottle well before decanting into your plastic then again when you drip again? I shake all my bottles before loading my tanks or dripping even though I'm not sure it needs it but just in case. *shakeshakeshake, fill*

I would guess the juice is separating and you are only getting lemon as the flavoring.....????

Shake, shake, shake your juice... Then shake some more. Max VG will separate easier than juices that contain PG. Putting your bottle in some warm water for a while with help with the mixing as this will make the VG not as thick.

I want to start off by saying the NT family is the best. Always extremely helpful and considerate. I have been vaping for a while and I feel like a newbie all over again. This is the only Max VG juice I have used and proves to me there is always something to learn. I think the problem has been solved. I re-wicked and shook shook shook warmed and shook shook shook since my question and it seems to be back to amazing. Thank you NT family once again for being supportive and saving the day.

I learned this hard way when I first started. Not about Nicoticket, but with other flavors before. Juice tasted like crap, got frustrated and threw the plastic bottle across the room thinking it was junk. Calmed down and realized it was my only bottle and vaped it, and it was good. I guess hitting the wall and rolling on the floor shook it enough to make it click for me that juices need to be shook before used haha.

I had the exact same experience with Bert when I bought it. I tried a couple different RDAs and every time, it would go bitter to the point of being unvapeable. I sadly put the almost full 60ml in the back of the drawer and haven't touched it since. I'm gonna go grab the bottle, shake the bejeezus out of it and give it another go. I'll let you know if that fixes it for me too.

Definitely make sure you are shaking the bottle - Sure Bert has a tendency to separate.

Curious now.

Sorry, I got busy and forgot to update this thread. I rewicked a coil and shook that bottle until my arms were on fire. It definitely helped. The extreme bitter taste was gone but the coil I was running wasn't giving me the flavor I was looking for. I set it aside again until I have time to play with the build a bit...
