Surgery is never fun, except for the happy pills they give you right after. Were they able to repair your shoulder laproscopically? Hopefully that was the case: quicker recovery time.

Yes!! I got to vape in the surgery center. My Dr. said I did a great job quitting smoking.

I'm not sure I've haven't seen it yet. It's covered from neck to bicep. All I know is it took 6 screws to fix it. Still kinda out of it from the anesthesia. Will post when I find out!!

Just sent you a PM. I read somewhere after my shoulder surgery no nicotine, is that true? I smoked afterwards anyways, stupid me. Now two months later I've quit. Wish I had known about vaping then!

Oh, yay, Georgia Boy, I'm so glad everything went well! Just follow the doctor's orders and don't try to do too much too fast or you will get adhesions and take it from me, they are NO FUN. Give your shoulder lots of time to heal and let your family spoil you for awhile. Oh, yeah, and enjoy those painkillers! Mine made me see a leprechaun at the foot of my bed. He was nice though. He just asked if I had any Lucky Charms and when I said no, I was on a liquid diet, he thanked me and scampered away.

Not true. In the hospital they will offer post surg cases a nic patch if they are smokers. Anything to keep them in hospital and not running out to have a smoke.
