Surprised at lack of vapor from pre-filled VG 808 cartos

I ordered some V4L WOW VG cartos (555, Traditional tobacco), and am surprised at the lack of vapor volume they produce. While the Traditional tobacco produces a little bit more than the 555s, I find the Bloog and SI PG cartos (in any flavor) I've previously bought produce far more vapor.

From all the research I've done on this site and others, I'd come to believe the VG cartos would produce far MORE vapor, not less... even if at the expense of a little bit of flavor.

Has anyone else had this experience?

Ya that's your problem, SI cig batteries don't play nice with V4L WOW CARTS for some reason. I have had the same experience. They do work ok on big SI batteries though. I believe its something to do with SI batts being regulated voltage and the low olm rating of the V4L carts. V4l batteries are unregulated and their cartomizer design is vertical coil, almost all other vendors have horizontal coil. It's also possible you got some dud cartridges but I bet they would work on a big battery like SI X2.

Ahh, interesting! Thanks for the insight. That certainly makes sense and clears up the mystery.

Are V4L batteries unsealed?

The one vertical coil carto I tried on my "sealed" batteries wouldn't fire at all. Turns out the grooves on the bottom of the carto weren't deep enough to allow proper airflow to activate the switch on a sealed battery. An 808-901 adapter cleared this issue right up.

No they are generally sealed, but I agree the cargo design is likely contributing to airflow, perhaps that explains why they fire fine on a X2 manual batt. :) ?
