Swapping and mailing E-liquids questions.

I have some Halo e-liquids that I would like to swap by posting on one of the 'swap e-liquid threads' on ECF. I am not so concerned about getting stiffed as I would probably end up pitching them anyway. I am concerned about how to mail them through the postal system. After making a swap agreement - I suppose I will buy one of the small cheap brown bubble wrap packages, put the glass bottles in and take the mailer package to the Post Office and have postage put on it and be done with it (I received them individually bubble wrapped in a box). Anyone done this - do you have to declare anything with the Post Office. I don't want to end on the evening news if one bottle somehow breaks and leaks and an entire city block is locked down while a HazMat team does cleanup on 30ml of fluid and a NSA team arrives at my door. Obviously I have not done much business with the Post Office lately. Also anyone have any knowledgeable swapping advice. Thanks.

bubble wrap each bottle.
then place a few in sealed baggie, then I always also tape the baggie shut.

Anything leaks it's not getting "out". :)

Then place juices into a simple bubble mailer and send first class mail.

Easy.

YOu couldn't do worse than the person who sent me a 30ml juice......just by itself, no bubble wrap, no bubble mailer......just the 30ml bottle of juice inside a LETTER ENVELOPE, like you mail a check in.

I know, I couldn't belive it myself.

It arrived, hanging out of the envelpe, which of course split during the first 5 minutes at the USPS processing plant I imagine. Getting nic juice on a usps postal employee would probably not enhance our reputation as vapers.

Thanks racehorse for that very good information.

They ask you if it's liquid or hazardous. I always just say no.

Hi Bryan: I went to the USPS web site and did some perusal of their first class mailing regulations regarding liquids and hazardous materials. I was not able to find E-liquids specifically addressed. I would guess that since plenty of suppliers are mailing this stuff - it's allowed without some kind of hazardous notation on the packaging because what I received didn't have any. Just for the heck of it I am going to go to my local PO next week and ask them the requirements to mail E-liquid.

I always mail out glass bottles in boxes. I can't seem to get enough bubble wrap around a glass bottle and still feel comfortable using a mailer envelope. If the bottles are plastic, I'll put it in a baggie and bubble wrap and use a mailer envelope though.

I never mail out of the country, that's where you'll have more restrictions and have to fill out more forms. I mail using first class mail.
