I got some e-liquid this morning direct from a big big manufacturer. It was shipped with no bubble wrap or tape and no tamper resistant packaging ring or box. It was my first time trying it and it was HIDEOUS. I was so disgusted without thinking, I put the bottles back in an envelope and mailed them all back. Do you think I'm entitled to a refund including the return postage? On some e-liquid reviews on youtube, I notice their bottles USE to have a protective ring.

This afternoon, I read a comment dated four days ago on youtube saying someone they know went blind from their e-liquid and is planning to sue them. Why would they stop having a tamper proof bottle? What money could they save doing that?

ALL the small artisan companies I've dealt with so far have shipped their bottles DISTINCTLY bubble wrapped and in a securely taped envelope. I wouldn't be surprised if some also photograph it before sealing and mailing the package to us.

No. I have purchased too many e liquids I could not enjoy flavor and no, I do not expect a refund. Others love and recommended these juices on the forum. My taste is different then what others enjoyed. I eventually will post in pay it forward to rid myself of them. I have sent back only one time an awful chemical tasting eliquid. I did not expect to be reinburst. I just didn't order it again.
If you did like how the e-juice tasted, would the packaging bother you? You asked what people think, I think, if you don't like them, don't buy from that vendor again and move on. :2c:

Wrapping in bubble wrap and taping isn't tamper resistant. It's to protect your product during shipping, USPS isn't very gentle with packages sometimes. Regardless, whether or not something is bubble wrapped is up to the supplier. They don't have to do it.

Honestly, in my opinion, it seems like you got some juice you didn't like and now you're grasping at straws to try to get a refund. I'm not trying to be a ....., but suck it up, everyone has juice they don't like. Just pick a different vendor/flavor and try again.

I've been vaping for about a year and a half and have probably ordered juice from 20+ vendors and have never gotten juice boxed or with a protective ring. Maybe bubble wrap, or maybe a bubble wrap envelope.

Most vendors offer shipping upgrades and you can get it in a priority box.

Can you post a link for the review that mentioned someone was blinded by juice?

I will say that most vendors want you to be happy and usually go out of their way for customers. Most will tell you to wait a week and steep the juice to see if it improves (many times it does). If not, usually they'll accommodate you somehow.

If your issue is with the way it was shipped, that's how most juice is shipped. If it's a worry to you, DIY is fairly easy and we have a whole section of the forum devoted to this. You'll know exactly what's in your juice, and you will save money.

Unfortunately, No. I don’t think you are Entitled to a Refund.

And here’s why.

Taste is Subjective. What might be Terrible to Might be Great to Me.

As to Tamper Proof Bottles. Did the Vendor say they shipped in Tamper Proof Bottles? If they had, then Yes, I would say you are Entitled to a Refund on the Product, Not the Shipping.

I wish All Vendors would use Tamper Proof Shrink Wraps. But they Didn’t state that they did. Did they?

My advice is to just Choke it up to a Vendor you don’t want to do anymore Business with anymore.

And also learn that e-Liquid Reviews are not that Meaningful. What works for the Reviewer might not Always work for You.

If you get a juice that you suspect there is something grossly wrong, I would definitely not vape it and let them know. It is something you're ingesting after all.

If it just doesn't taste like you thought it would, sometimes your tastes change or it improves. Sometimes it just stays bad and in that case, you may be able to trade it. What you hate, someone might love.

As a side note, I got some e-juice from Stealth Vapes Vapors which came with tamper-resistant tops on the bottles- a break-away ring like you find on soda bottles. I thought that was a nice touch.

I forgot to mention, if you really want the tamper resistant shrink wrap stuff, try Ahlusion. I got a sample pack from there last week and it had the little shrink wrap rings on all the bottles.

I wish ALL e-Liquid Vendors would have some Type of Tamper Proof Device on the Bottles they sell.

Be it Either a Shrink Wrap Band or a Break-a-Way Lid.

I have allot of juice flavors that i have ordered in the past that i do not care for, some taste really good when mixing with something else like adding a little to a tobacco or a menthol and experimenting..as for safety caps i also have never seen them, which im glad cause i can never figure them out... Good luck
