I'm a pre-newbie DIYer. Waiting for my flavorings to be delivered.

I have my blunted syringes, empty 5 and 10 ml bottles, VG, 60 mg blank nic juice, and have been sure to order flavorings I know I'll like: vanilla, cherry, peach, green tea, hypnotic mist. Simple. Easy-peasy. No use complicating things. I'm just that kind of girl.

Will I *really* need sweetener? I'm wondering just how many of the ready-mades I'm vaping are truly sweetened, anyway.

I have no idea if DIY flavorings are naturally sweet, naturally bitter, or if my brain will fill in the blanks and say, "Cherry e-juice?! SCHWEEEEEET!"

Thanks in advance for your responses. :)

I enjoy using it, not in everything I make of course but sometimes I like that extra little bit of sweetener added and it does make a big difference to me whether I like something or really like something. Bobas bounty is one of them just one of them but to me it makes it taste way better. Everyone's taste-buds are so different you will get a thousand different answers here on this its just so subjective. I would spend the $3 and grab a 15ml bottle from Geoff over at TV and have it on hand. once you start doing a little mixing take something you may think might need it and put 3ml of your mix into a small bottle or less and ad a couple drops of the sweetener until you get it right where you want it, then you will know how much to add to a 15-30ml bottle too.

I just started experimenting with using EZ-Sweetz (Sucralose). I've also tried TPA's Cotton Candy (EM), but I found that too weak. I haven't found too many instances where sweetener is needed, but I'm always willing to experiment. So far, I'm thinking I'll need to dilute the EZ-Sweets about 50% to make it useful for the batch sizes I tend to make (5-6ml), as one drop per 5ml seems a bit much.

Don't worry about confusing me, mwa. I often confuse myself. LOL! I'm in SE Pennsylvania, just a hop, skip, and a jump from Lancaster. :)

Intog, caiques are cutie pies! Such little clowns! I have a conure named Pickle, a half-moon conure. Sir Grey Charles of The Royal Red Heinie definitely owns me, though. Hehehehe!

upStomp, I had been reading that cotton candy wasn't working for some DIYers, and that some were trying their vanilla pre-mades, instead. But if it's a good idea to have sweetener on hand, then I'll definitely do it. I've been lucky not to have one of those "I wanna throw up" e-Juice experiences. I've read about them, though, and I'd like to avoid it as much as possible. :)
