Sweetener or no? EM or no? Both?

Just want a simple answer and a vote I guess you'd call it, I'm new to DIY and want to know what most ppl do, do you use sweetener or not? How about EM? Or even both? I have Ms T's sweetener and it is very very sweet and find it hard to make small test batches, I know everybody is different but getting your ideas may help me and others. Just say what you use and why, or why you don't. Short and sweet folks.. Thanx in advance!!! CHEERS!!

I generally use Ethyl Maltol as a sweetener. TFA Cotton Candy is really nothing more than 1/4 tsp of EM crystals, dissolved in 10ml of PG.

The only time I use EM is with (straight up) tobacco flavours, I find it removes the dryness. I use it @ 3%

Same here. I sweeten tobaccos with EM, 2% or 3%.

I use both in varying quantities. My sweetest used 12 drops of each in a 30ml just to make it more "candy" which was the intended result.

I started with TPA Sucralose sweetener, but switched to EM a few months ago. I like the flavor of EM better, though it's not as sweet. Plus EM has a simpler molecular structure, which makes me feel better about vaping it, for some reason...

I do like my sweets, and I often add it at 1 drop per ml to flavors that are not at all sweet.

Always use EM. Most other foods and beverages we consume are sweetened. Why not our juices?

If you don't use it, you will taste that something is missing.

EM yes. Sucralose yes. Sometimes both.
EM for slight sweetness & body. Sucralose for pure sweet.
Like pete said, a bit o' sweet rounds out the flavor of a lotta mixes.

No sweetener for me as well. If the flavors are mixed correctly. The flavor is plenty sweet for non tobacco's. As for my tobacco flavors. I like them on the dry side.

I use sweetener - a lot of it - in every single juice I make. It's 100% a matter of personal taste. If you never cared for sweet commercial juices, don't make sweet DIY juices. If you're a "the sweeter the better" vaper, go for it. There's no right or wrong or better or worse or should or ought to, it's all about what you personally like.

Not worried about the price, but I just hit send on an order from ECX that is in transit and it'll be a while before I need to restock - so if anyone has recommendations about where I might find this stuff locally - much appreciated.

i mostly like sweet juices so i put 2% to 10% EM in most of my mixes. some are ok without it but a little never hurts imo. i've been considering getting some kind of true sweetener tho. if i don't like it i suppose i could put it in my iced tea.
