With my initial order of diy supplies over a year ago, I was advised to use sweetener in the recipe. I've since tried a couple more flavors and again added sweetener. The first flavor I mixed was coconut and I liked it. The next 2 are fruit flavors and I can't stand them. Could the sweetener be making these fruit flavors too sweet? I've looked through a few recipes here and haven't come across any calling for sweetener. Isn't sweetener normally used in recipes?

Hola,
I'm a simple DIY guy.
I never add sweetener and if I do I wait until the juice has aged to "ready".
Perhaps some of your ingredients already contain sweeteners.
In any case, I can add more if needed. It's a bear taking it out.

What Izan said. Someone was mistaken on the sweetener advice: always mix a small sample of a flavor without sweetener, then decide if it needs sweetening and by how much. I personally use Super Sweet and vape mainly fruits (less to no steep time) so that I can add it by drops over the course of few days and not dilute my flavor profile.
