i really like using the Cr123a mini flash lights as a batt mod.
the problem im encountering is how to hook the switch up
the really smaller ones dont even have a clicky, just a turn on/off

for one of these types i would like to add a switch at the top near the atty
i just cant figure ut a way to do that.

also ive been sticking with the 1A+ type switches
ive seen some 500mA one that are pretty small, and like, any chane i could use those?
what i dont really understand is that if the atty needs at least 1A to work
wouldnt a 500mA swicth fail?

I've used the 50mA tact switches without issues, as have a bunch of others. If it still makes you uncomfortable, you can use the submini pushbuttons (radioshack part# 275-1571), they're rated to 500mA so you'll only be pushing the limits by a tad.

Don't worry about it reducing your voltage, they don't work that way, and as long as you don't keep the circuit closed for long durations you should be fine.

As for wiring it, run your power wire from source to first lead of switch, then from the second lead of your switch to either (a) your atomizer or (b) a resistor->LED parallel with your atomizer.
