so Gourmet Vapor had an Independence Day 50% off sale that I figured I would take advantage of. They make one of my favorite juices (cheesecake. yum. nice and sweet vanilla goodness) and have a huge selection so I went to town.

unfortunately i learned a hard lesson: just because it tastes good in real life doesn't mean it'll make a good vape :(

Bring on the Suck Parade:
Pumpkin Cheesecake - if i was into the flavor of a nutmeg that had been roasted in the devil's ..., i might actually like this. there's hardly any pumpkin flavor, and definitely none of the yummy vanilla cheesecake goodness that i love. the initial taste is this toxic nutmeg, and the exhale is plastic. BARF.

French Toast- again, WAYYY too much nutmeg. hardly any vanilla and maple. so disappointed, especially since french toast is like God's food and the best flavor ever, so i had awesome expectations. sad face!

English Toffee- this one i'm letting steep for a week or so because it seems like it might have potential. right now it's just kind of sweet and "meh"

vaping Vanilla- this one i'm letting steep as well. it's supposed to be a mix of french vanilla and bavarian cream. i like it more today than i did a week ago. it has a weird taste on the inhale but a nice vanilla exhale.

anyway, hope this post let's a few of you dodge a couple of unpalatable bullets ;)

As far as vaping goes, I'd stay away from pumpkin anything ;-)
Hot steamy pumpkin... yikes...

That's my only issue with Gourmet Vapor.
Really great company... but if I was good at DIY, I'd do it myself...
It's not easy enough for me to figure out the best flavor intensity and pg/vg ratio... I always tell the vendor to choose what they think makes the juice the best...

I enjoy your reviews much~

and...
" if i was into the flavor of a nutmeg that had been roasted in the devil's ..."

tell me about it...
Last time I ordered, I wanted something like a christmas cookie... so I asked for this receipe that I don't remember... but it did call for nutmeg... and I really only wanted a dram or two... but the lowest option was for 5%... I even included this directive in the note I sent to them... nonetheless, there was 5% nutmeg and I concur with your statement about nutmegs, the devil and his a**

LOL.... so sorry the cheesecake was a miss for you, If I remember right, one of my first posts here was with you... about cheesecake flavor... well I tried it to, from Madvapes and I gotta say I was sorely disapointed also.

I got some pumpkin spice that was a helluva lot more spice than pumpkin.....nosir, didnt like it!

I havent tried GV's english toffee, but I did get some from the vapor room and I liked it quite a bit ( I think Ill go double flavor when I reorder though) so there is hope yet. Although it is a little "meh" it made for a good mellow all day vape for me for about half a week.

DO MORE REVIEWS! :laugh::laugh::laugh:

When I ordered from Gourmet, I was just coming out of my 'can't taste anything' phase, so I ordered most of my order double-flavor, haha!

AND my order was primarily nuts and coffees, which are strong to begin with, HAHA!

Talk about your flavor overload...

I actually am using all of them, but as accents in drop-by-drop form to enhance other juices, mostly tobaccos.
I'm not actually vaping any of them straight-up, but they treated me so well I won't say anything bad about them.
Great customer service, very friendly, juices can leave something to be desired, but I ordered them that way, so I'll deal wid it.

Thanks for the reviews...

I am interested to find a pumpkin flavor. Any recommendations that aren't to spicy?

Kick Bass Vapor has a pumpkin roll thats supposed to be a cakey pumpkin flavor with cream cheese icing. this is hands down one of my favorite sweet treats in the world, so once it's available i'm going to order it. every time i check it's out of stock. i'm hoping thats a good sign? every other flavor i've tried from them has been delicious. if the pumpkin roll is amazing i might just ask them to be my baby dad.

Pumpkin flavor has to be a tough one to work with (to create a good e-juice flavor). As far as a food goes, pumpkin itself really has no flavor - it's what we add TO it that gives it flavor. So you have to somehow mimic the sweet, buttery, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, pastry, vanilla flavors without making it taste like it was a product of Satan's .... cheeks.

This is why I avoid pumpkin flavored anything - except for things that actually contain pumpkin (it's also why some pumpkin flavored beer tastes horrific, it really is a tough flavor to work with)
