Good point on the size and shape being a factor in going with the 510. It was for me...I didn't want something that felt clunky. Now, I'm more interested in something that works and works well. I'll keep an eye on the Ego deals. Also, lots of sellers are now doing coupon codes, so I'm looking out for them. (got 10% off my 510 kit this way)

Thanks for the input all!

Don't really have much experience with a 510. I'm a real noob. But, tried a "disposable" 510 & it intrigued me ....Battery did'nt last very long between re charge..... OK, consider the source, but it still is working.:2cool: .Researched a little and got a Ego two weeks ago. Haven't looked back. Got the wifey, (a 1 pack a day analog smoker) a Ego a week ago and she hasn't looked back. Battery last all day +. I think if wifey had to charge / change batteries from the start, she would have "looked back" as in to much hassle. We love our Egos.

I think the real power of the eGo resides in LR atties. Can't say enough for how much this setup changed the vaping experience for me. Lots of vapor, lots of taste, 24 hours of use. I still like my 510, but the truth is it sits at home and only gets use if it happens to be laying within reach. Still a great pv, but lr-ego is the daily go-to.

Well my mind is made up. I'm getting the ego. Wednesday night I couldn't get to a location to charge my battery (510 Dura C). I had to wait four hours before I could vape and OMG, I almost bought a pack of analog. But I just kept talking to myself LOL...Its only 4 hours...come on whimp you can do it... lol... I need a batter that I don't have to charge 5 times a day :( ego here I come

Good question. Considering this myself. More for the battery life than anything else. I really like my Dura C (510) i think the vapor production from it is fine. My only complaint is that the vapor drops as the batter life drops. :( So more battery longer vapor. I'm going through about 5 battery charges a day on the 510. I just rotate off charging one and using one, but that means pacing myself for the several hours it takes to charge one. And carrying my charger to work :(. Anyway would love anyone's personal experience who upgraded to the ego.

HELLO ,, i've been doing the same thing, take my charger to work also, bought a pass through so i dont get stranded withought ,and a carcharger ,been doing this for 7 days and allready and its cost me over 200.00 bucks including an eGo that i ordered, should get here 8/25/10.shoul have went bigger right off the get go... I bought an eGo kit from cignot - I wasn't bothered about price because Id rather have quality than price anyday and I trust cignot as they have been excellent since I started vaping; I got my first regular 510 kit from them too. I got a titanium eGo and a black one (you can have different finishes in the one kit) and I must say the titanium one is very smart lol. Both manuals too, and Im actually using the cone as well although I honestly dont 'feel' a lot of difference but it does make it 'look' sleeker.

I am going to upgrade to an eGo as well and likely from Cignot, if only because of my good experiences with them. I was looking at the titanium one as well and wanted to ask if it still looks "smart" after some use. I have a titanium 510 (battery and atty) and both are looking fairly rough after about a month of use - alot of the titanium finish has rubbed off.

The mega atomizer from cignot is a must, cinnabomb from vaoprbomb is a must too. Just my opinion. I'm still having a problem with some of my liquids I ordered, not very consistent in TH and vapor production but flavor is always there.

If your still smoking an original 510 do yourself a favor and get the eGo immediately. I haven't tried the mega batteries yet but I want to. I am very happy with the stock eGo battery but who knows I might give the mega a try.

I have a titanium , black and pink ego.
The titanium for some reason the paint will come off it.

The other colors, no problem at all.

I would stay away from the titanium color .

The good news is that if you do have one and the paint is coming off , a rag with alcohol will remove the rest of the paint and then you have a silver Ego,

I own a TITAN 510 and a TORNADO (similar to eGo). Although they could seem similar, the cone makes them provide different tastes of the same e-liquid with the same atomizer. I like TORNADO very much but sometimes I vape with my 510 to taste the difference. I recommend to have both. I mainly accquired TORNADO because of the bigger battery but now I'm very satisfied with its results. The only problem is that the cartridge filler is not working very well. A thing I'm trying to fix with different cartridge mods.

Well I got my eGo this past Thursday. I started with a Janty Dura C (510) my only compliant was the battery life. So I ordered an eGo kit (cause I wanted all the extra stuff :) and REALLLLLY like the longer life. I got my eGo from IVAPE.NET for 49.95. The exact same kit as you get with Janty for 30 more. But don't get me wrong I still really like Janty products. Just needed to spend a little less for this product.

I have noticed what a few others have noticed and that is the difference in the taste of the juice. Its not like major different but still enough to notice. I thought It was just me so I went back and forth and I do notice the difference. Not sure if it is the cone as someone else suggest, I tend to think it is the extra power that the atty is getting so it seems to burn a little hotter which would slightly change the taste. I still love both of these models and still use them both. I care one of each battery with me at all times :) Just my :2c:

I went from smoking 5 - 10 a day and vaping a 510 to smoking 0 a day and vaping my eGo. I love it.

I don't use a LR atty or mega anything. I just drip on a regular 510 atty and I have to say that for me, the difference between the two models is ultra significant. Did I mention I love my eGo?

IMHO, definitley worth the switch.
