sigelei 8 - Obviously, there's some resistance in there - anybody able to offer advice on whether this is normal, or do I need to be worried that there's a short developing?
You also might need to press the button with some sideways pressure so that the switch pin will contact the side of the switch housing. This lets the electricity bypass the small spring it keeps the spring from heating up.
Thanks so much for the help - applying the sidways pressure has definitely relieved the problem and has brought the Sig back to life. Will the linked mods resolve the problem? If not, is there any way to alleviate the lack of contact in the switch?
