so I was strolling down the aisle in Lowe's yesterday and I noticed a doorbell button on clearance for $3....and I said to myself, that's a momentary switch....and I looked at it, and it said "Not to exceed 6 volts".....and I said to myself, a box mod doesn't exceed 6 volts.....so I bought it.....

Yikes I want it. :p I was actually looking at doorbell switches and really couldn`t tell how much stuck out the back side. They looked rather big to me in the pictures but couldn`t tell. I was for sure wanting to check them out in the store next time I`m out.
As far as using them. I don`t know but at 3 dollars I`d for sure be sticking that into my box and finding out. Nice find.

Very interested in any thing you find out on this find.

Seems a bit odd as I thought most doorbell transformers output 16V.
