Switching from Cartos to Drops

Hi. Me again . OK, I purchased the V4L and Prime Vapor cartridges along with the K808.... batteries. I just took apart a Prime Vapor cartridge (after watching a video link on here). Once I thoroughly wash the cloth inside and let dry and slowly put back in the cartridge, then purchase the pre-mixed drops from Velvet Vapors (I think), do I just put in 5-6 drops and that is it? Does it need to sit for a while? What is next step and am I correct above? Is it that easy? Why, if you can use the dropper bottle do some use needles? Not sure I understand the difference here. I am assuming purchasing pre-mixed is better than mixing myself, correct? Thank you so much! I am so glad you guys are here

are you just wanting to fill cartos? lol, i'm so confused i am not even the right person to answer this because i don't use K808's....

premixing takes the guess work out... mixing isnt all that hard though if you use an ejuice calculator and have the equipment...yup you got it.. 4-5 drops and let it sit for a min or 2 so the juice wicks properly and you are off to vape heaven... Velvet vapors has some fine juice, well except for the turkish blend that tastes like I just ate the foil wrapping from a box of camels lol

Tat2d4life ... thank you so much!! I have watched so many "how to" videos but did not know if I could just use the dropper or HAD to use a needle ???? Is there a difference between what each does or is it personal preference?

its just preference... I have a few syringes, but I like to drip, plus if I am out and about dripping draws so much less attention...

So, I am going to use the many, many cartridges I have purchased so far to try and find the right "flavor", pull out the "stuffing", wash it really well, let it try, stuff it back in, and add 5-6 drops of whatever I purchase and I am ready to vape, correct? I love this site!!!!! Cannot wait to add my days without analogs and cost savings to bottom of my messages . You are the bomb, Tat2d4life! Thank you for making it so easy!!!

Make sure you do not flood the atomizer. I suggest just adding about 4-5 drops. Also, let the atomizer dry out during the night so you don't mess it up. Just flip it over on a paper towel when your sleeping

pretty much.. I mean there are vast options, and once you become comfortable with your vaping options, maybe you could try something easier or in your opinion better... I think I have pulled the filling out maybe twice in my experiece, and I found easier things, and sometimes its just better to toss and get a new 1 ..lol I am soo glad I could help you on your vaping journey, but I can't take credit, cuz like you, I turned my curiosity to ecf when I need answers..

KK - New questions/same subject: Killnon2: What part of the K808 battery is considered the atomizer that I want to dry out?
Tat2d4life: what else I can use? I don't the idea of re-using the "what looks like wool" inside the carts I have now. Any suggestions? I tried to view videos on tea bags and straws but they were removed. Can we purchase new "cloth" to put inside?

there is a post about using blue foam, and I am pretty sure there is a vendor that sells precut foam for carts... also maybe look into cartos or cartomizers... I started out with them, went through dripping and ect and I am back to cartos...

Tootles, you are working with a cartomiser, if you want to play around with flavors, your going the long way! to drip, to save yourself the hassle of all that work. you need to get a atomiser or get a cheepee from your local shop, and instead of using th cart it comes with, drip on the atty, and put the empty cartridge, (even if you have to take a pair of tweezers to pull the resevour out), to taste the liquid first. Hope I made sense...standing by

I ordered juice ... Now I need empty carts.... I know I am supposed to put 4-5 drops in them, but see below from V4L re their blank carts:

What to do to get it right ? 25 drops? Anywhere else I should go to order blank carts? Please advise. Thank you!

The atomizer isn't on the battery, it's inside of your cartomizer, near the bottom. Don't drip juice on the battery! I'm very new to dripping as well so can't really comment on the other stuff.

So 25 drops (????) in one cart or where do you get yours from? Would like to try something already proven ... can you share?

The atomizer isn't on the battery, it's inside of your cartomizer, near the bottom. Don't drip juice on the battery! I'm very new to dripping as well so can't really comment on the other stuff.

Unless I'm missing something, the battery wouldn't be inside the cartomizer. It should be a seperate piece right?

I would say to follow the manufactures instructions. You can do a search on you tube and find many videos to guide you through the refilling of a blank cartomizer. The first time you fill it will take the 25 drops.
