So I've got a provari 2.5 with an aspire nautaulis and I really like it but it doesn't give me the flavor and cloud I want, I went into a vape shop and the owner was really helpful I ended up getting a plumeveil and he built my coils for me, he wasn't very good at showing me what he was doing though and after I bought it I went to put it on my provari and got error 1, so I asked him what that was about and he didn't know. Turns out the coil he put on was somewhere around .7 so it wouldn't work on the provari so he said he'd put a 1.1 on it. After he did that it still didn't work, he told me there wasn't much a point of going any higher so I told him I was looking at a box mod anyway and Id tell him the details when I get it. When I got home though I put it back on my provari and did the atomizer ohm check it told me .8 ohms.

Anyways tl;dr got a plumeveil on my provari it didn't work, now I'm looking at the segelei raptor box mod and was wondering if I could get some opinions on it, if I should go for something else like a mechanical mod, all I want is something that'll give me sub ohm coils (not too low like .7ish) with great taste and big cloud. I'm willing to learn as much as possible to not blow off my face with a mechanical mod, as long as I get the cloud and taste.
Thanks for reading this long mess of a post and thanks in advance for any help.

You can run a 0.7 on a Segelei 50W box too, it has a better voltage range than the 100W. That said, it sort of depends on the wattage you want to run that 0.07 at. Since the 50W puts out more voltage than the 100W you might find the 50W better for you.

For me, I have a plume veil clone, I run it at 0.8, on a Segelei 30W device, but I am looking at getting a 100W, because at the specs i run my Plume, the double batteries that the 100W has would make it an all day device for me.

A mech will run 0.7ohms no problem.

A Provari won't. (?) You either need to make the coil to work on the Provari (high enough resistance) or use a mech, yes.

I run my Plume Veil with dual 1.8ohm coils making 0.9ohms. It won't run on my VV/VW mods. 0.9 is plenty enough for me, and theoretically, I could get the same vape from a Provari with the right combination of coil and volts. A Provari must surely run 1.2-1.3ohms, say.... that at 4.8v would be quite cloudy... :)
