So I'm planning out an SX350 build and I have a few questions. First, I want to replace the button it comes with and add buttons for power adjustment, but I'm trying to figure out which ones I can use safely. Does anyone know what kind of current is running through the switch circuits? I'm trying to figure out the amp ratings, and I assume they're not using the full current that goes to the atomizer, right?

Secondly, I've read in a few places that LiPoly batteries have some special considerations when it comes to charging, but it seems like since parallel configurations don't need to be balanced, they might not need anything extra. Is it safe to charge a 1s 3.7v LiPoly pack with the SX350's built-in charging capabilities? I'd like to hard-wire the batteries into the mod. I'm looking at using somewhere between 2 and 4 cells (20C, 1000mAh) with a max charge rating of 2C (so that would be 2-8 amps or 2000-8000mA, and the chip's charger is going to be around the USB standards of 500-1500mA, correct?).

If anyone can help, that would be awesome. Thanks!

the switches are low current.. you could use:

dunno about the charging capabilities of the board for a 1S. sorry, charges an 18650 no problem for me though.
