Fifty watt update for Sx350 is about to drop any day now But do you need 50 watts NO!
What kind of battery are you going to need to run the 50 watts and how long will the charge last?
75.00 bucks for an SX350 is way too much You need to spend at least 40 bucks to get the rest of the DIY parts and then DIY
If your happy buying a China mod there are way better deals out there (Hanna clone 68.99 IPV 50 WATT BOX MOD 99.00)
The IPV 50 would be cheaper than just buying the parts for your SX350 mod and the chip in the IPV50 is made by the same manufacture
Why would any one in there rite mind pay more for just parts and have to build a mod there self when there is a 50 watt mod ready to go for less money If you want a 50 watt mod the IPV is the clear choice
A better choice is a DNA 30(49.99) by the time you assemble all your DIY parts your still at the cost of a clone
and you have a Quality Proven Product Backed by a reputable company that will stand behind there product
If you spend 75 bucks on an SX350 and have problems you may be SOL and there still a new really unproven product!
If you want to build your own mod go with a DNA chip Not only are you getting better after sale service your supporting an AMERICAN Company :)

Um. One HUGE advantage the sx350 has over the dna30:

The sx350 has buck circuitry while the dna30 doesn't.

A DNA30's min voltage output can only go as low as the voltage of the battery. So if you're running a 0.8 ohms coil, you're forced to vape around the region of 22 watts and higher on a fresh batt, because a real dna30 chip cannot buck down the voltage output (ie it has to fire at 4.2V)

An sx350 chip's biggest advantage is that it has both buck and boost circuitry, so you can fire from 1V to 9.5V even if you're using a fresh batt.

Just saying.

Source: look at the spec sheets of both chips from the manufacturer
