In my fumytech gotank v sjmy doggystyle competition I have found the winner:

Sjmy doggystyle - For me personally I just prefer the airflow of the doggy

Everyone is different with regard to vaping preferences - so definitely try the gotank out. Airflow/draw wise - the gotank is in between the sxk doggy and the sjmy.

Here's what I love about the gotank - top fill, looks awesome, easy build deck, comes with spare tank & a ton of accessories, adjustable airflow (4 holes), non-leaker and a quieter draw.

Doggy benefits: Minimilistic look, easy build deck, lack of unnecessary parts (just tank, chamber & deck), adjustable airflow, not thirsty, never leaks and I love the low profile and look of the tank.

And for me flavor is a little better on doggy... but in ease of use Gotank is much, much better... installing a coil is effortles...those big screws catch coil legs easily... top fill works like a charm... pyrex glass (plus extra spare glass) is also plus for Gotank... I had 2 dogies but one acrylic tank cracked at top when unscrewing. Overall there is no clear winner and for now I enjoy both... maybe after a while I will investigate possibility of slightly enlarging hole on Gotank ( I successfully converted my SXK to SJMY by drilling).

Question for my doggy loving friends:

On my SJMY Doggy, the metal top of the tank that connects to the chamber is loose and rotates freely, along with the entire internal chamber. I can turn the drip tip and the entire internal chamber turns. I've never had any issues with leaking, but wondered if this is normal? Yesterday I opened up another brand new SJMY Doggy, and this one is not loose and does not rotate. Is there any way I can tighten down the loose one?

That metal ring on top should tighten down the chimney. Hold the ring while tightening the chimney using a quarter in the two slots on the bottom of the chimney. Hope I've explained this well enough so that you get the idea. :)

Thanks so much! I'm glad there's a way to tighten things up- I'll give it a go next time I refill (sounds like I ought to be able to do it even with a little juice in the tank).

Well, not this time. Thought I had it tightened up good (I'm notorious for overtightening and breaking things) so I filled her up and screwed her back together (that doesn't sound nice ). That top metal ring is still loose. When I turn the drip tip, that ring and the entire internal chamber still freely rotates. I'll give it another try when it's empty. It doesn't leak, so it's not a biggy, but I do like my stuff to be "right".

My approach always works, but a couple of times has also been destructive. So proceed at risk if at all.

I stabilize the top with something grippy, then grab the chimney with a needle-nose pliers and twist it into place. Holds rock steady if I don't bend the chimney in the process.

    Tank emptied first, always.

Mine is loose even if I tighten the top. Doesn't leak.

The trick mentioned above is the one I use as well. I'm not sure why it's not working for you, magicsyst. You are holding the top ring while nickel or quarter screwing the chim chim?
Yes. I'll give it another try when it's empty or less juice.

Thanks, everyone! Got my loose doggy tightened up. Held the top ring with plyers and turned the chamber with a quarter. Nice and snug now- and ready for Florence.

Glad to hear that you got it tightened, magic.

NOT glad to hear the second part. :( Wishing you well, and safety.

There is no need to use tools when tightening the top ring. Just wad up a bit of paper towel, stick it on the base of the chimney and tighten up with your finger whilst holding the top ring in place.... I mean, really, pliers and quarters ?? Wimps ! :D
