symbol for resistance

Ive seen some people type the symbol for resistance, how would one do so?

There are a few ways to obtain it (copy and paste being the easiest).

However for Windows machines, you can go to Start, All Programs, Accessories Folder, System Tools Folder and select Character Map. You'll most likely end up scrolling down quite a ways until you find the symbol. Select it, copy the resulting output, and paste it to your post. Ω

Or you can do it the way I do it, which is, while holding the "ALT" key, type "234" on the number pad (not the numbers above the letter keys, but the number pad to the right), then release the "ALT" key. The result is: Ω

unfortunately I have a 15" laptop, so I lack the numeric keypad looks like ill do it the copy/paste method. thanks guys
