when you quit analogs, your sense of smell might be affected for a few days/weeks. you might not smell anything much (thats what happened to me) . some people report dizziness and stuff also. This is due to the "withdrawal" symptoms of stopping analogs and also because your body is readjusting back to non smoking times , and also your body starts to detox itself from all the accumulated chemicals/toxins from analogs smoking. Thats where all the ulcers, nose bleed, dirty phlegm comes in.

The dizziness / high when you smoke analogs is due to the nicotine rush, slightly different from the ones i mentioned above.

It is not a direct replicate of smoking. Still need to put some effort in to reduce or totally remove
Analog. I'm a pad and I've done patch and analog together.

I believe if the nicotine is strong enough, th good enough, it should be okay. However, there will be side effects. If you ask me what side effects I have? I say very mild as compared to cold turkey.

Cheers!

Take note that Sometime it is not the Symptoms from quitting Smoke but from the picking up of Vaping.
Note that some E-Liquid may even give u rough throat hit or even make u cough more. and Some Atty may also be part of this cause.

my smoker's cough is now on full blast. coughed for about a week already, everything that came out is thick and green. oh well, at least i know the tar is making its way out.

@Litespeed the way i see it, there are two types of withdrawl symptoms :

1) Tobacco Withdrawal; flu, sore throat, disgusting green/grey phlegm, tiredness, ulcers, bleeding/weak gums, temporary loss of taste and smell, acne breakout

2) Nicotine Withdrawal; Headache, nausea, etc.

By vaping you can effectively avoid the nicotine withdrawal symptoms if you choose the right nic strength juice which is dependent on the amount and type of cigarettes you smoked previously. (usually 6-12mg/ml for Lights smokers and 18-24mg/ml for Reds)

Most people experience the tobacco withdrawal symptoms to some degree although there are a lucky few who do not get them at all.

The first few days are the hardest to get by because your body still craves the tobacco. Most people gradually reduce the number of cigarettes smoked gradually till they hit zero. (the withdrawal symptoms start appearing after a week or so)

Good Luck!

@andrew9030. Suggest you:
- drink more water
- don't over-vape
- lessen your analog intakes slowly... it sounds like you are a 24-hour chimney - you are either smoking or vaping. You have to let your body adjust to 2 main activities that it is going thru... lesser analogues and it also have to adjust to vaping...

Today is the 11th day that I have stopped analogs... Felt abit skeptical about some Oldies comments about their puff on analogs after switching to PVs, so asked my friend to light up his Marlboro Lights for me to try.

1st reaction to 'initial lighting up' smell: "Gosh! That smells like ....!!" Okay, maybe I'm just being confused by the smell.

So, I took a puff. "Gosh. I can't believe I actually smoked this .... since 14 years old!!"

So to all Newbros intending to go all out vaping: "Go All Out!!! You won't regret it!!

The first week I was fine, for the next two weeks I was mega tired and lethargic, I could barely do anything at all, thankfully that passed. I also got itchy everywhere! That passed too. I did have a sore throat to begin with but I suffer with a dry irritated throat a lot anyway and the 100% PG juices aggravated it so I switched to a 70 PG and 30% VG and all is good.
