Not sure if anyone else has gotten the 20ml syringes that come inside of another plastic tube with a cap? I was just pulling one out to use this afternoon and I wondered if anyone had tried to make a tank out of one? They are slightly larger, obviously, than the syringe but out of basically the same material, maybe a tiny bit thinner but not much.

I've never attempted to make a tank before so I've no idea what you'd use in place of the plunger since the syringe plunger would be too small. I've always hated to throw them away but haven't found a good use for them. I've got them in both 12 and 20ml sizes so if anyone is interested, I'd be happy to pass some of them along if you think you can make use of them.

I had some 3ml syringes that came in those kind of tubes. I did think of using one for a tank mod, but never got around to it. For a plug/cap to go on the end, some of those laboratory stoppers might work well. They're just a big rubber plug with a tapered OD (smaller on one end than the other), so you could cut to fit and easily drill out a hole for the drip tip. Google for "rubber stopper" and you'll find plenty of places that sell them
