I spent about 3 hours surfing the net last night looking for a suitable syringe for nic-juice. What I'm wanting to do is, what I've gathered that alot of ppl here do, buy the 36mg liquid from the supplier, and cut it with PG. I've found dropper vials and PG, now I just need some suitable syringes.

I saw the other post here from Walrus, and I may still fall back on the pipettes and small syringes, but I'd really like a 30-35cc syringe with a 12-16 gauge tip (metal, plastic, flexible... doesn't really matter), either 1.5 to 2 inches long. I can find syringes for days, and the luer-lok seems to be the most popular, but when you search for luer-lok needles, there is nothing. Maybe I'm being dense and missing something obvious, like a terminology thing, but it should be so much easier than this.

Darn drug users and their needle use. :mad:

Go to a local feed store. They have syringes for farmers and equestrians who give shots to their animals. Pick a syringe with a needle gauge in the mid to upper 20's. Bigger needles (0-20) will push down the cart material unless you spin it into the poly filler; smaller gauges will make it difficult to squirt out some juices (30+). I find that adding juice to the syringe is the easiest way to go. Trying to suck up e-juice through the needle does not works very well.

Bandit, I used to live 5 miles east of Brighton. You're pretty close to my old stomping grounds.

Nice, Idahojo, ya, I've been through Brighton quite a few times. Colorado is a pretty decent place to live. After 5 years, I still do have issues with the lack of humidity (coming from GA), but the people are cool, and the weather is decent.

BTW, that worked out well. I went to the animal supply store today. I got a gallon of PG, 3 each of 6cc, 12cc, and 35cc syringes, and 5 16 gauge x 1.5" needles for a total of $27. Now all I need are some bottles, which I will probably order from usplastics.com.

It's kinda funny, my wife is looking at me like I'm a nut. She's content with ordering the atomizer cartridges from bloog.com for her disposable. Of course, I also can't say that she's wrong about me being a nut :D

Glad you got everything you need Bandit. This habit/hobby is so expensive we got to save where we can and this forum sure helps. I lived in Brighton for 13 of the 33 years I lived in Colorado. My sis and brother-in-law drug me kicking and screaming to Idaho 2 years ago. It's ok but I still love and miss Colorado.

On the site Walrus mentioned they have syringes that are described like this: 3cc LL - 25x5

I Know what 3cc and LL mean but can someone explain to me what does the 25x5 part mean?

25X5 refers to the needle

25=Gauge
5=Length(in inches I believe)

Are you sure it was 25X5 and not 25x5/8 ?

And what should I buy to use with e-liquid?

Re: Needle thickness/diameter. The higher the number, the thinner the needle. So I'd say you want nothing higher than a 15gauge for dispensing Glycerin/PG as it's much thicker. For everything else 18gauge is good.

As for syringes..it really depends on the size of the batches you are making. I find 3cc,5cc and 10cc syringes cover pretty much everything I do.
