I tried doing a search but didn't come up with this specific topic, but a wide variety of topics, some related, others not. So I thought it would be a good one to have out there for others with this specific question: How do you clean and store your syringes after mixing? That would include one for VG, PG, Nic, and flavors. As always, thanks in advance!

That will Work.

Stick the Needle into Warm Water and the Pull/Push the Plunger Back and Forth. Also works well to Pull 1/2 the Syringe full of Water, then Pull the Last 1/2 full of Air, then Shake the Heck out of it.

2 Things You Shouldn't Do.

Don't Leave the Plunger Pushed in All the Way when you Put it away after Cleaning. Always leave the Plunger Pulled Out Slightly.

And DON'T use Sharp Needles. Only Use Blunt Tipped Ones.

I do several hot water rinses and then blow out as much water as I can and leave them somewhere in the open to dry. I have started removing the plunger during the drying since it occurred to me that mold/fungus could conceivably grow between the rubber at the end of the plunger and the barrel. But then I put it back together after everything is dry and put it in a box, since the rubber part of the plunger could deteriorate (somewhat) faster exposed. My $1.50 syringe and blunt needle assembly deserves nothing but the best.

I use a saltine box for storage. Poke a hole, insert blunt tip needle with syringe and label the box holes to avoid undesired mixing. I also place a paper towel in the box in case of the occasional drip. Keeps everything clean from cat hair, ready to use and sorted. Oh and you can't get much cheaper!

Ha I got you all beat I use a rubber band around the bottle they belong too. Flush them them strap them to bottle once dry then into a ziplock in the fridge

I live on So-Cal. And it Hasn't Really Rained here for Ages.

Just replace them after each use. Warm water doesn't kill bacteria. Maybe I'm just overcautious but that's what I did when I diyd. Don't anymore

I am new to DIY, I took the plunger out of 2 different sizes of syringes and they never drew up the same bunch of air in them after that. Threw them away. As far as blunt tip needles I rinse well with warm to hot water , blow them out and lay on a paper towel to dry. I am used to throw away syringes and needles lol so this is wayyyyyy different I forgot to say so far I have a good sized tackle/craft box with handle that I store a lot of e-cig and DIY supplies in

Wait until you have about 300+ bottles of flavoring and nicotine to store in said fridge.

After cleaning could a thin swipe of VG on the plunger be applied? This would keep it lubricated and (correct me if I'm wrong) VG doesn't support bacteria growth. This is more of a question that a suggestion just to be clear.
