Syringe Talk

Ok, so I stopped by tractor and supply and picked up two 60cc luer slip syringes, but the only needles they had were not blunt tipped. I was wondering if there were any places in which I could pick up some blunt tips before I resort to amazon. Really don't want to have to wait for some to ship though I can make due with "stock" top already on the syringes when my nic and flavs arrive in the next day or so. Thanks in advance.

You can make them blunt?

A rotary tool with the right bit should cut them off cleanly, finish with an emery board & a good rinse.

I ordered mine when I got my nic but I have heard you can ask the pharmacist and they will give you a couple of them.

Got an Agway or farm supply store local? I get all my syringes for like 55¢, and needles are about another 35¢ at my local farm supply store...
I also live in the sticks....

I second the dremel tool. An easy fix. Or you could try some cutting pliers but that's 50/50 chance the cut won't bend the opening closed.

i vote to just use the sharp needles until your blunt tips come in the mail.
sharp tipped needles do the exact same thing as a blunt tip. just dont stab anything. lol
one advantage to a sharp tipped needle is that you can slide it right into the dropper top of your bottle. it saves prying that little cap off with your fingernails.
