ebay is a good idea. i guess depends if you want a cheap disposable plastic one or a pyrex long lasting one. best one i could find was this 500ul: General Laboratory Supply - 1700 Series Gastight Syringes. Hamilton.

regardless of which way you go i would make sure it has the standard luer tip. then you can swap in blunt needles, plastic needles or just use it as a pipet for mixing liquids.

I've been getting mind from blue mist vaping, where I buy many of my everyday juices. Since the needles come off the syringe easily, you don't need to buy both needle-less and those with needles, just buy the syringe (they come individually wrapped) and take the needle off when you don't want it. So far I haven't had the occasion to not use the needle, however, I take the needle off to store it in my little juice container on my desk, it wouldn't fit attached.

I didn't mean to be insulting, it's just that it's not as easy as just asking in some places. In Illinois you can't get them without a prescription.

same here in VA. and in my experience actually the best 'needles' aren't even the blunt metal ones. the luer dispensing tips (for glue) and luer catheter tips (without needle) are even better. hard to get ahold of the good stuff without a prescription. for obvious reasons. make friends with a nurse, vet or pharmacist!
