Syrupy Taste

Anyone experience a fundamental change in taste between cartos with filters and those without ? I changed from the carts and filtered cartos because I thought a wicked approach would provide a full flavored alternative. I was also leary of hot carts/cartos burning the filter/sponge piece.

My experience with the wick type cartos is that they taste syrupy. Could it be that I am doing something wrong or perhaps I need to shop for better eliquid ?

Keep in mind I am very new to this. I am now using a v-Go 510 (I love the battery life).

I have immediately put in orders for juice from johnsoncreek (red Oak sample pack) and americaneliquid (Black Cherry and Tabacco Cherry). My hope is that they won't be so sweet and with a bit of bitterness to them.

Maybe better juice is what you need. If you still find them too sweet you can order a more bitter flavoring and just add a few drops to the bottle until it tastes like you like it.
