T-Rex Info & Advice

Greetings,

I'm new to the forum and have a few questions. Based on what I've read here and on another forum, I recently ordered the T-Rex. There were two types of batteries, 650mah and 900mah. Assuming they were better, I ordered the 900's. Was that a good assumption?

I'm also interested in knowing what liquids to try. The T-Rex has not yet arrived (coming from the manufacturer in China), but I did receive a small bottle (30 mg...I think) of "Halo Purity" that I ordered. Was that a good choice? I'm a 30 year smoker of Kool Mild cigarettes so I guess I'd like a liquid that might come close to that experience? Is there such a thing? And while I'm talking about liquids, where do you recommend purchasing it from?

Thanks in advance for any help. I'm sure I'll have other questions after the T-Rex arrives...on that "slow boat from China."

Oh yea...what mods would you recommend that fit the T-Rex?

you made a good choice in getting the 900 ..good batt life ..i used eat Kools for 30+ yrs have to yet to find a menthol that doesn't taste like I'm vaping listerine..but check out gourmet vaper they have about 20 diffent menthol flavors you may find something that comes close

Your setup sounds fine and regarding juice......there's a whole section dedicated
to juice suppliers and favorite flavors, YMMV on what flavor you like.
Small 3-5ml samples of many flavors is the way to go (available at most suppliers)

The forum also has a section of Suppliers that are all reliable and flame tested!
You can post to them here and they WILL address any issue you may ever run into,
great bunch, and friendly, good service, with sale notices posted here.

p.s. Personally I could NOT stand menthol cigs, but it is one of my go to vapes,
guess my palet isn't trained for gormet menthol?

Well I'm sure you've already read that no eliquid tastes like a real cigarette. They just won't. Don't limit yourself too much on the flavors you try. Certainly give the "tobaccos" a go but get some other types as well. Small sample sizes are great for figuring out what you prefer as far as flavor, nic level and PG/VG mix ratio. You can also get menthol crystals or liquid (prediluted crystals) and make any flavor a menthol.
