t tank on icon ?

ok so the tanks look pretty cool, and bruce has best price on them. but i dont like ego batteries. i used them before buying mods and my lr attys or cartos would just suck the life out of them. addicted to my icon with high drain batteries ,and want to know if any one has tried to fit the two together?

I have mine on a Buzz but you need to use an adapter or two since the connector is up in the cone. Bruce has 510 to 510 adapters but I haven't tried it yet with those. I'm sure it would be plenty long though.

couldn't you just cut the cone off like the ego cartos?

Ya, you can, I did but trashed a brand new atty doing it! If I do it again, which I'm sure I will after I get over the loss of this one, I'll be sure to cut a little lower. It was a little wobbly where I cut! But, since it was trashed, I tore it apart to see just how it was put together. I'm considering it a learning lesson. Then I blew it with my buzz doing a dry burn, dang it, shoulda checked the voltage before I did that! Learning a lot today! LOL
