Hey guys. Got the 4 T2's I ordered today and so far all I've done is inspect, rinse and meter them. All 4 are coming in right at 2Ω and every one had traces of juice in the tanks (smelled like maple syrup). Did these come over pre-filled or something?

Getting ready to start a vape test in a few...

Starting playing with T2 #1 a little while ago. At 2Ω(+-) it's a little hot for my tastes, but it's performing pretty well. Just for kicks I threw it on a VV box mod and cranked the voltage down to about 3.2v, which did a lot to bring the flavor of my juice back to where I like it. In all fairness though after being on ECF all this time I've found that I like a cooler vape than most other users.

I haven't stripped this one down yet, mainly because it's working well and I don't want to risk killing it. I DO want to eventually get into it, however, because the design is... interesting. Normally after this much of my juice the atty would be hopelessly gunked up, but this guy dry burns like a champ. Between fills I rinse it out and do a quick burn, which seems to be bringing the atty back to full life. I'm not sure yet how the coil is laid out, but there appears to be a 'disc' under the wick that turns entirely orange. I tried to get a decent pic of it in action and this is what came out:

I'm a long way from being finished testing these but I wanted to get some initial thoughts up. From what I've seen so far I see no reason why these shouldn't be sold on the site as a regular item. More later...

it comes apart real easy. push the battery connector with a bic pen and the atty slides right out. the coil and wick setup is the same as the sapphire - fat solid atty coil with a vertical wick in a 'holder' that snaps over the atty. after mine died i gutted the whole thing with hopes of putting in a new coil but i suck at soldering nicrome or kanthal so i will just have to wait for my new one to come.
reassembly is easy too - put wick in wick holder tube, snap onto atty, slide back into shell. oh there is a small silicone sleeve in the shell the atty slides into - you need to make sure it is pushed all the way down in the shell before you push the atty in. i have also found it helps to put a little juice on the outside of the atty to help it slide in.

Thanks I'll try that when the time comes.

One thing I'm wondering about right now is whether or not the wick is the only thing transferring juice to the coil. I have a (unproven) hunch that maybe *some* juice is working it's way out through the hole in the bottom of the tank and seeping directly into the coil. I really don't seem to need to pump the bladder... it's getting plenty of juice by just gravity (but NOT flooding). I'll be able to tell more after I run some more juice through it and get the wick good and gunked.

I don't know about you guys but I'm tail piping these dam things and just dripping into them and they are fantastic like this, Chris you should make a nice drip tip for these and make sure they either silicone the bottom or do something so they cant leak at all, these things are just super to drip into. If you haven't tried this yet just pull the tank and the entire top off and just put a few drops of liquid right onto the pin and tailpipe this thing, the vapor and flavor is like nothing else out there, I need a drip tip Chris !!!

It is funny, I don't know what else to call it then that old term Adrena ? but really with the tank I keep getting a burnt taste no matter how I try it at whatever voltage. I have 3 of these and I've been testing them on a reg Ego 1000mAh PT up to my Provari to try all different Voltages, I find that 3.3-3.6v is best with the tank on and with direct dripping I can go up to 4v-4.2 and I get way more flavor with the direct dripping and just vaping it like that so a drip tip would be super, I'm gonna have to route through my gear and see if I cant come up with something now

Edit; I really feel these things are so close to being the ultimate, I dont know if it's a bigger wider pin and opening with a bit more wick but somehow more liquid needs to get to the coil, but there so close to being super, they need a tweak in the right direction to make them WOW
