FWIW I was having this burnt taste issue with a BRAND NEW T3/coil. I read on another thread that taking a few draws without firing the battery helped prime the wicks. I had never read that before so I tried it and lo and behold the burnt taste is pretty much gone. It was so bad it was burning my throat like brand new Blu carts used to when I was still on those. Much better now.
