Does anybody know what size the top wicks are in the T3? I have lost a couple durring cleaning and a member sent me a link to a site to buy silica wick. They come in different sizes from 1.5 mm to 3.5mm and we are not sure what size they actually are. He got some 2mm and has to take some fibers off to make them work. I am wondering if the 1.5 would work. also, does anybody know of other places to get these, as it comes in a 2' section only.

I dont have any empty right now to check, but I know I have thinned out 2.0 for the CE3/X2 clearos just because I couldnt wait on new ones. I havent tried 1.5 but I would be nervous to try it on a bottom coil. Not sure Id risk the leaking considering the price of new heads is pretty cheap, that and unless your replacing the coil too, it will eventually get corroded too. Not knocking the idea, if it works for you by all means go for it. Just mentioning some ideas/concerns I would have

I use 2mm and it works fine for my juices (60/40-80/20) and vaping style. 1.5mm may be needed for thicker juices but may also cause occasional flooding. Can't comment on that. Google 2mm silica wick and you'll find several reputable sources.

a 2' section of wick is less then $3.00 so I am going to try it, just don't know if I should get 1.5 or 2

Why silica and not glass?

I saw somewhere for glass silica.....wick................is that what your meaning..?..I want it for the top 2 flavour wicks...it seem thinner the top 2 wicks..then the coil ones....so do you think 2 of 1m wicks would be better...? I tried leaving only one of the wicks....but it leaked after a few vapes.....idk.....

I went with silica because I read somewhere that fiberglass breaks down into teeny tiny shards that you end up inhaling (at least at the cut ends). Kinda like when you come in contact with fiberglass insulation - the little shards get all up into your pores and stuff...
The silica I got is rated to 1300 degrees...and I went with 2mm because I'd rather have it too thick than too thin. I figure you'd probably wanna fray it anyway, after you get it in there, for better wicking.
